My ping went up like crazy X_X

Hi guys,

So, today when i played crossfire, i saw that my ping went up, but not a little bit ... a LOT

I have ... 16 ping normally

Now i have like 200~300 pings ...

I live in canada, got a good internet connection and a decent computer :'(

How can i make my ping go to the way it was before ?

(it started raising today)

K,do you share a internet connection with anyone in your house hold?They could be downloading something,or you downloading something could cause your ping to raise,or some programs open.

Or simply restart your computer/reset your modem.

What internet do you have?your broadband could be used up or something.

Do you have wireless?

Well yes i did, i downloaded a game (combat arms, from nexon) But when i started playing CF, i had Combat Arms on my computer, and my ping never got up to 300 ...

And ... I don't lag, i still see people moving around, when someone shoot me, i die when the bullet it me ...

How come if i have a ping like that i can't even benefit from it? -.-

Where you in a UK server?....

And maybe combat arms is updating or something.

Why would you even download that lol,Crossfire Is tons better.

cause only br's are graced by the benifits of wicked high ping so start hacking call hack everytime you die and curse a few people out in spanish and youll start tanking like the rest of the 300+ pingers

And, Combat Arms isnt open, i only have MSN and crossfire running on my computer ...

Its annoying to be called a BR and getting kicked -.- Help me xD

I use a little bit more than half of the space avaidable on my computer (tough it was like that when i had a 16 ping)

same.... solid 30 ping before now spikes everywhere... lowest is 100 highest is 250.... i havent played more then 2 games in a row for weeks now cuz of this prob... its a shame :l

internet browser? idk,my ping spikes randomly time to time,and you're not giving answers lol.

My internet provider is videotron (sorry if its not that, first language is french ^^) and i don't share my connection, it's mine, no one use it except me ^^'

I can still understand english (well i don't use a translator so i guess i'm decent?)

Ohhh, and i was playing in Bravo Server, now i'm in Alpha, and my ping's lower than before (19 ~ 40)

But when i came back to bravo, my ping went up again

It's probably the servers. If not, then it may be your router or some type of connection. If not, then...
