If you want an RPG, with a hugely deep storyline, go for Fallout.

If you want non-stop action, got for Crysis.

You'd prefer Fallout then. Just buy Fallout 3 first, since it's only £8 now.

You have to be patient though, and build your character up.

Still he should get Fallout 3, if he's not played it yet, since New Vegas is gonna be completely new to him.
