Random Floating Followed by a disconnection with host server?

It randomly happens to me in game. While playing, I randomly "Float", unable to move, I can still KILL people while I float but I still float, then when I hit a "roof" I recieve a game client error and then sent back to the channel list. Followed by a "cannot connect to host sever" box. whats going on here?

    It sounds like your connection with the server is not good; when your ping reaches an extremely high level then your connection with the server will be terminated. Check your ping in game when this happens (hit tab). What are you using for internet? wireless? 56k? cable? etc.

    Impossible. My ping is 58(not 580) and I'm using a wireless-to cable modem. Also, dont say I got a bag signal, I'm 3 feet away from the wireless router.

    do a tracert in dos (command line) and i am sure u will find ur isp has a bad hop, which will show ur ping to be normal on a second glance but overall ur ping is spiking everwhere.

    ping a soild site like yahoo plus ur isp bet u got a bad hop
