They probably hack for a reason

the hacks just suddenly increase to a big number this month or perhaps these weeks. Like there are 75/100 games have hacks. This can't be just happen, my guess is that someone in other game company develop the bot to make this happen. I mean even the dumb ass has a limited of number. And all of them now know how to find the hacks and the same one?

yea, but all of sudden, every noob now knows how to hack, it's not a small number if you play the games these days. I mean no kidding, 10 of 10 FFA game has hack, 9 of 10 TD has them.

Thats because these hacks are that easy to use =/

    1. Easy to hack
    2. Low chance of getting reported
    3. An Aimbot through walls replay is not enough evidence to ban player.
3.5. Penalty is apparently only 7day ban
    4. few GM's
    5. No one seems to care about hack reports
5.5. They do not seem to be working for us; they probably work for money.
    6. Hard to contact anyone working for CF
    7. More bans in forums than in-game
  • quite easy to do unfortunately.
For example or put this into perspective:
The hack developers have about 24/7 and a large know-how on how to develop programs. They decode, find a weak point and work their way there. Where as paid program developers work at normal work hours and spend a while finding their own weak points, enforce that area and release a patch.
Hacks are easy to use, they come in with an instruction and were developed to be easy to use. Add a innumerable amount of kids that download these hacks, who either pay or take the free hacks and use them.
Plus im pretty sure Z8's support staff is understaffed which would explain long waits for the hackers to be banned. And i dont think there is a 3 strike rule for it either...
  • The vast majority of the population is simply bad at FPS gaming. So they have to download hacks to compete with the actual skilled players. The remaining players download hacks to "defend" themselves from hackers, since they think "well if everyone around me is hacking and ruining my k/d, I need something to fight back with"...

And since the only other option is to quit CF and play a new game, OR to only play with friends/clans, what if they are casual players and don't have many friends, or are active enough for clans?

    Lose-lose situation.

Z8 needs to learn how American companies do business, and get off their Korean butts and GO AFTER the hack writers in a court of law. Besides seeing some of these hackers panick in a court of law, or look like completel wimps in real life, that will discourage people from following in their shoes....

Look at Blizzard and EA for good examples on how they deal with hack writers...

Another option which would stop 90% of the teenage hacking population would be to block all NEW member registration with ANY free email addresses, and to make all registration manual (to verify whether an email is free spawned or not). Some major hardware forums already do this, precisely because of abuse by other members in the past. Existing legit accounts would not be affected. Most kids would have no way to get an email address if their ISP one got banned for hacking...what are they going to do? Tell their mommy that they need a new email cuz they got banned? Huh?
  • I'm pretty sure its because they saw someone hacking - they found it and tryed it, later when the look on the hacking website they find new hack they say WTH im going to try it!

    rinse and repeat
  • people don't bother reporting because the hackers just make new names or change IPs. Thought sometime ago there were going to be IP/computer bans... guess not. 7 day ban is nothing... at this point it should permanent IP ban, it MIGHT atleast slow them down.

(really hack users, lets not flatter them, most people in game didn't make the hacks, they are just leeching)
  • Please don't confuse the autoban system with the reports.

Reports get permanent bans instantly if a user is found to be cheating in any way.
The autoban system isn't fully tweaked yet, which is why it only produces 7-day bans.
Although we are confident in the system, its better to err on the side of having to ban people twice than pushing out permanent bans automatically and end up manually reviewing them.

That's not true. Most of the players I reported are still out there playing.

THIS....this RIGHT here, end of story.

When I first started playing CF on the Halloween map I noticed how sometimes I'd get spotted by people and shot at long before I popped out...wallers.

Then I was beatsing on other noobs on the rookie server and some kids was saying I was chaming...me not knowing what the heck that was asked "what's a cham?"

I didn't get ****ed or nothing, I just wanted to waste some time with a game and decided to check to see if there were any hacks for it. Sure enough, there were some, but I decided not to use any for the chance of getting a virus were too fresh in my mind (and I had just removed Vundo from my PC...repeat? Fusk that sonny...).

I didnt decided to try one out until about 2 months later on my 2nd account (this is my 4th)...but using the thing taught me how to expect when someone would be in a certain place (when NOT using the hack), how and why people moved into positions in S&D, and better yet, where people liked to camp...things that normally would have taken me months to catch up on were learned in a few weeks. I then stopped using the hacks when I joined a legit clan (albeit, I was one of the better players (now dead clans [XLR]Black and W3AK_kings)).

What's GOING to **** me off is the fact that I don't have a computer to play CF on ATM and I bet I'll get hella rusty before I get back online...

    Problematic Family or Sexual Impotence

Since they don't know how to become a man in real life, they wish, at least, to become super-men in game in order to compensate their personal disaster.

X-Trap is the same as GameGuard: avoid linux players to join the game and allow all kinds of hacks...

BTW, only a woman or a d.oche.bag of a man would use this argument on a game mostly played by 13-20 year olds...many 'men' play this game I'm sure...*rolls eyes*
  • There is absolutely no reason to cheat. It's sad really. Discussions about cheats/cheaters is really not allowed. Sorry guys.
