Ping lag

Ive been having this since a patch/xtrap patch early september.

My ping went from a steady 20-30 ping to a wild 50-1000.

This does not happen to any other games I play like mw2 etc

So crossfire is the source

any help?

    None. I was having that SAME problem. My ping was originally 92, then after the same patch you are talking about, it went up to 130-150. After the most recent patch, my ping suddenly dropped from 150 to 72 on the same server I've been playing on for the past two years. You might just have to patient and see if your ping improves over the next few patches. I feel for you though. Higher ping is really hard to play with when you're used to a lower ping.
