My Ping is going crazy. help?

yeah, i normally have 40 ping.... lately my ping is at 100-150 constantly spiking to 200-280
i have no idea why! i use ccleaner, i am running a virus scan, i have a like $80 wireless adapter, anyone have any ideas on what i can do?

maybe its just you, for example you see 234 while in reality its 34, you need to stop playing and go get some glasses d-[o]-[o]-b

yea i know how you feel i used to get 13 ping in west coast and now lowest i go is 20 T_T and more often im at 150 ping its really anoying.

maybe you are over your bandwidth limit
contact your internet provider

Her are some ways to lower your ping...

1. Close everything before you start gaming.
2. Run Ccleaner.
3. Run Winutilities and clean up all your junk files that Ccleaner didn't find.
4. Restart your laptop/computer.
5. Get Tuneup Utilities and do the configurations. (buy the program, find a free key from Youtube, or get a torrented copy like the Moderators do when they were finding cracked Minecraft.

)
6. Crank up the "@ass-clappin-AC130 "Turbo Mode"" on Tuneup Utilities.
7. You're all set to go.

Hope that somewhat helps... if it didn't work, then forget it, play CF on another computer. On my crappy T400, CF failed for a month or so (incredible lag and freezing). After a month, strangely, CF worked perfectly on its highest settings. How weird is that!!
