Help with the patching!

whenever i click on start game, a window that says "failed to download verson.ini." will pop up.
How do i solve this problem.
Also when i decide to delete the game, a window that says "??????????????" will pop up.

    Get rid of X-trap and HGWC folder from your main game directory which will allow the game to download it again. If this doesnt help you can re-install the game. If still it didnt solve the problem it may mean that you have to scan your computer for malware etc.

    After doing the following the game should run, if not delete the game and find other activities.
