rag dolls

well dont tell me that u havent seen any dead body on the ground and half of his body is inside the WALL or he is just stuck in air and not falling 2 the ground or a dead body right next 2 a c4 and when the c4 blows up it doesnt move at all ,,well thats why i think that adding rag dolls well fix all of this or it can be an option so u can turn it on or off ,, AND dont say that this is a free game and they cant add something like this i have seen hundreds of free games got this and please read all of this before saying any thing and if u got nothing 2 say but rude comments so get the hik out of here .......

We can't have ragdolls because of the engine. Changing the game engine is not an option.
Other free games have ragdoll physics because the dev used an already existing engine, like AVA is running on the new unreal engine just like AA3 does.
So just forget about it. -

First of all if you don't want any negative comments then you might as well not post anything on the forums. There is no way you can improve your idea without people giving you negative comments.
OT: I don't really see the point of this. I don't mind the characters being half way through the wall. It doesn't affect my gameplay in any way. Kinda pointless in my opinion, surely would make the game look more realistic. ^.^

BTW Crossfire doesn't use the "Unreal Tournament" engine, so rag dalls aren't possible. If Crossfire decides to use the Unreal engine, then there will be ragdalls in the game.
They can also use the source engine too...
Unfortunately, Z8 has no plans for replacing the current engine to the unreal or source engine. SO TOO BAD!! LoL.

You sure are dumb. Here's a hint, think about hard-core coding and years of making an engine. Creating an engine also requires epic skills of pure awesomeness and years of studying coding and etc in University. BTW, think about Masters degree and PHd.

That's not to mention the amount of work involved with porting an existing game to a new engine. It is just not a possible option. Even if more realistic physics such as rag dolls would be a really nice feature. The cost and amount of work involved is mind numbing. -

Quite unfortunate.
Yes, although all the triple A game engine generally cost between half a million and 1.5 million per game title. The Irrlicht engine that crossfire uses comes in at the incredible cost of $0. Although it does not include a built in physics engine it can be setup with a number of external physics engines depending on the budget. Personally I'm interested in trying the free ODE physics engine myself but am horrible at building the 3d content lol.
