Sorry I'll rephrase. It's not that we unban hackers. But we've issued unbans in rare occasions where we've been able to prove the ban wasn't justified (ie they weren't hacking).
The point being, no matter what we do it will never be correct, or wanted or enjoyed by everyone. We can only continue to do what we can and hope to get the best reaction possible at any given moment.
The fact that GMs are here posting in these kinds of threads is an indication that we DO care about the community.
(and yes, as much as I liked the multiquote the darn post made me late for an appointment which I had to cancel! :rolleyes: ) -
i would buy cookies with the zee pee they would gave me, tough i would give some to you guys too, if you come to me b4 i eat'em...
Also, i would give some suggestions a chance in-game, like the AK-custom, and the mac-10 for the fun, also i would nerf the m12 or delete it, and i'll make the SG552 a little less loud along with the k-1a -

If kids ran this cuz they know what to do, and if there were like 10,000 Gm's. Like I'd love to be a GM for CF, like could they please create a sign up and interview thread.

It's pretty easy, their actions tell the story:
1) Following names through walls.
2) Looking at walls or in directions there simply is no need to look (if the wall was just solid).
3) They anticipate when your about to pop around the corner and act like they know this prior to popping out.
4) Prefiring in some instances, that's the trouble with wall hacking - You see them before you should and react sometimes even before they popped out.
5) Then there are the "coincidental" things that happen through-out a replay with a wall hacker, grenades always thrown in the right spot and at the right time without possible vision of the enemy. Always being in the right place at the right time through-out the entire replay i.e changing camp spots when the player goes the other way.
6) Running one way and then running back when they see a threat coming maybe multiple enemies.
7) Checking just 1 camp spot (where a camper happens to be) when they don't normally check camp spots.
Some of the things alone or even multiple things don't always prove that person is a waller but when the things rack up and if you have a good senses you'll spot them easily enough. -
I would:
- Use whatever influence I might have to get more requested maps into the patches
- Clean up the forums by cracking down on useless flaming and QQing
- Try to update the community more (through daily or weekly vent meetings, limited Q&A, etc)
- Tackle the BR problem by presenting a clear policy to the NA community
- Continue to host GM games, special events, and limited tourneys
- Institute some more accountability with banning hacks by making it a community project, not a fight between the staff and the community
- Actually admit the new auto-ban system isn't perfect and work with the people wrongly banned by it
- Reward positive behavior on the forums
- Stop treating our community like every single member is 13, because by respecting my community, I would be respected
- Try to update CF's image from arcade asain babes with guns shooting mutants to a professional and modern mercenary fps with fast addictive gameplay

They are a company, of course they value money over the community. And I don't blame them one bit. But that being said, they (Saidin in particular) do TONS of work for this community.
So lets all just give them the respect they truly deserve and have a little patience. -
I would:

You would have to be a DEV to do that right? lolI would get all the cf guns from other versions. Put it on my account and then make them unpickupable for other players and like have anti kick.
And ban people in game at will.

put some new guns in and not the same ones over and over again such as the ak, m4 and awm which there just milking the cash out of you also i would put a mut suvivior into the game with a good story line that will possable lead into the next AI type thing

I beg to differ. I know of several legit players, myself included who have received seven day bans for hacking when that was not the case. In my instance, I reported a technical issue where I received multiple server disconnects in a row prior to the auto ban. I have politely requested info on the ban and have received a curt, canned response telling me that you "have proof of malicious software use" but you will not allow me to see this proof, and further inquiries on the subject will be ignored. Above you say that in 100% of the cases, people have admitted to hacking. I absolutly disagree, as I have been banned for seven days, and I absolutly state that I DO NOT HACK, GLITCH, FARM, OR ABUSE THE GAME IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. Therefore your 100% number statement is incorrect. Further, later in this same thread, you refer to accounts that have been unbanned after review and the ban was found to be unwarranted. So again, there seems to be some discrepencies in your comments. There is obviously an issue with the auto ban system, whether or not you wish to admit it. Legit players ARE being banned, and hacking HAS increased in the last week. Period! Everyone knows it. Ignoring the issue will not make it go away. My banned account is over 1 year old, has reached a rank of Captain, is an LT in a top 50 clan, and has made purchases of ZP items. Doesn't sound like a hacker profile to me. Saidin, please look it up. Ingame name is GreyKatt. I DON'T HACK. I NEVER HAVE HACKED. Thank you. -
