Yes, I know.Yes, I was banned because of this system, but that doesn't mean I have to go hate-crazy on it for a false positive.
The system is working. The only reason people aren't recognizing it being effective is because we have THAT many hackers in this game. It may be slow right now, but I'm sure it will become much more efficient once it gets through the thick glob of cheaters we have infesting this game.
The one good thing that came out of my ban was me realizing that Z8 was serious about this, and any little trace of a recognized file or folder can get you banned.
So in all, be patient. This may take a little more time than just waiting on a new patch or the revealing of it's contents, hundreds of thousands of users have to be sorted through, and it will do it, thoroughly.
Some of my friends got banned... -
So you used an hack on other game and u get ban for 7days on cf. If you get ban for no reason again your ban is going to be permanent
AUTO-BAN FAILS
Well there is no need to have a hack for ANY game. Get rid of all hacks, CF related or not. -

There is a program I had on my old PC called Delay Reducer for warcraft 3. Yes it's considered a third party program hack but it's only use is reducing delay for all the players in the game. A fully helpful hack that does NOTHING bad can get you banned from Crossfire. Rofl. -
Auto-Detection Software. Bans people when it detects a hack.
It can't just detect a hacker. It detects what people INJECT into CF. Now, WHAT they can or can't detect is the problem, and MAYBE they might detect all of it soon. (INJECTIONS are alien programs that does not originate within the program or game itself, thus they can change or alter the game.) Thats why they have this new technology to AUTO DETECT these injections. -

That's not the point. Not that I support hacks, but Z8 is only concerned to CF(or metin2) related content... If i use hacks to solitaire, minesweeper or farmvile, it's only of my concern.
It is a good step in order to decrease this hacker burst, but you really have to deal with the legit players that are being targeted aswell.
More important than all, THEY are the real community u wanna hang on to, ergo a main priority. -
