Don't lecture me either that you think there are more Brazilians who cause problems than anyone else. That's irrelevant. Stop putting all the problems on one group. There are many other countries, including NA, where people do the same thing (treating them the same way they treat you) and that is just as bad.
Controlling ping limits for each room is more likely than banning a whole group anyways. It has already been said Brazilians aren't being restricted.
Ranting....
Well, first, you're right about brazillians, but the ping limits sould be time rated, this way we won't get kiked for a lagg push of 1 sec.
If I was a mod, I'd troll people who don't like this game, but come on the forum. -
[MOD]Polleus wrote: »You didn't read what I wrote.
I was including NA in the group "many other countries" that do the same thing as Brazilians do.
It seems as though your defending them. Don`t get me wrong I respect MOST of the BRs who don`t hack but you basically said BR`s don`t hack and other countries do. -
Nothing in particular today, but in general, you seem to sweep away what someone's post and build an opinion off of your own interpretation.[MOD]Polleus wrote: »Excuse me? Please elaborate on what I didn't read correctly?
He's right, let's get this back on topic. -

Again, you didn't read it correctly. There are many other countries, including NA, where people do the same thing (treating them the same way they treat you) and that is just as bad.
I am saying everyone does it. No need to single out one group over another. Every one has a part in the fault. -

Yes everyone hacks but the MAJORITY of them come from BR. If you`ve ever played a MM publicly you`d see at least 1 person hacking and looking at there name has br in it and not just MM. I`m sure there are people from Euro and NA AND Canada who hack as well. But its not something everyone seems to be talking about. -

How is stating that Brazilians are not the only ones who cause problems building my own opinion? That is stating a general fact. They are not the only population who causes problems. So why single any one group out? Everyone has their fault in the problem. So everyone is held accountable.
OT: If the power was given, I would make sure there would be more weight to a user's forum account so that people would consider their individual actions more heavily before posting. The problem is a lot, not all, but a lot of people place no weight on forum accounts and therefore do not regard being banned as a big loss. I would try to help to change that. -

You didn't read what I posted. I said generally, and not today.
Get my point? -

That can be deemed under racism. But it would be great if there was some kind of translation software that would translate Spanish and Vietnamese and any language that's out there into the language that you can read. -

That's bull. if people want to speak their own they can always use Private chat. I'm not from an English speaking country myself yet I do the effort of speaking English, a lot of problems would get partially solved if people started using the same language. Quite annoying when you're in a room with people speaking Turkish, Chinese, portuguese, Polish and Vietnamese randomly calling hacks and QQ just because it's the only thing they know. -

Sounds like you're the one QQing. -

This is being done to the best of our abilities. It should be fairly obvious at this point the GM's work with the game and the developers to request as much desired content as we possibly can.I would:- Use whatever influence I might have to get more requested maps into the patches
This is as much of a problem of the community as it is a problem of us policing it. It's also as much of a product of the beast. We have a lot of people come through these forums. People with 1 posts don't know that this is an established community. They want to rant out something and then leave. It's virtually impossible to actually stop that. (See every other game forum on the internet)- Clean up the forums by cracking down on useless flaming and QQing
We're on the forums every day. It's company policy that we don't talk on vent to individuals. However this year alone we've done things like: Semi regular newsletters, interviews at wogl, appearances at events, weekly and daily in-game playing with (especially) the community here.- Try to update the community more (through daily or weekly vent meetings, limited Q&A, etc)
We have no problem with "the BR problem". People from all over the world play our game. It is their right to post on these forums. It is not your right to make fun of them or insult them for doing so.- Tackle the BR problem by presenting a clear policy to the NA community
We have put servers in Miami which we have announced will be renamed to make it more clear for people who might get a better ping for it. Not to mention we've already discussed the possibility of bringing in some of the other things (like Delta servers in UK and South so that people are always crowded in Delta).
There are games going on weekly with the GM's they post here all the time about it. We're always in the works for special events, especially relating to competitive play. And we are currently running a Golden Gun Tournament. We have run special events like the Gamescom events, and WOGL Broadcasts where we've given out prizes during the broadcasts, and interviews etc. Not to mention AK47 Week, M4A1 Week and don't worry we haven't forgotten about Sniper Week.- Continue to host GM games, special events, and limited tourneys
It's not a fight. But the community will never take a positive step as a positive step. We ban hackers, they complain. We unban unjustly bans, they complain. We stop a hack from coming in the game, they complain. etc. etc. etc. The "more accountability" has been addressed by keeping everyone informed of what we are doing, IE talking about our steps to eliminate hacking and auto-detect other hacks. We never had to make those announcements. We thought that it would be a good thing to announce that. But it generally isn't.- Institute some more accountability with banning hacks by making it a community project, not a fight between the staff and the community
Sofar 100% of the cases we've seen of "wrongful" banning have come back to either the player admitting that yes, they at some point hacked and had a hack file on their computer. Or that their account was compromised etc. We have 100% tested our methods and are fully confident the programs we are detecting are being detected. Since its not ALL hack programs being detected it is too much of an advantage to the hacker to tell them how and why. NO GAME COMPANY would fully admit their anti-hacking methods and processes.- Actually admit the new auto-ban system isn't perfect and work with the people wrongly banned by it
This has been discussed, further input is always welcome. We hope to have something, but there is no ETA on this.- Reward positive behavior on the forums
We don't. Especially to the members who don't act 13.- Stop treating our community like every single member is 13, because by respecting my community, I would be respected
The game is developed in Korea.- Try to update CF's image from arcade asain babes with guns shooting mutants to a professional and modern mercenary fps with fast addictive gameplay

With all do respect, can you all rename it and move it to the most southern part of the united states aka Key West. People in florida will still get good ping and those in southern countries will get even better pings. It's a win win. -
