Contacted Customer support got copy/paste reply "Recently we have found evidence which proves this account was using malicious software within Cross Fire."
I would really love to see this "evidence". I've no idea what this hack detection detects but definitely not hacks. Cuz i have never used any hacks in any game.
My team is playing in wogl on sunday and now i won't be able to play because i "hack" which i don't.
And you know what is the worst thing? There's no guarantee that it won't happen to me or dozens others wrongfully banned again. In this case we all can say bb to our accounts for playing fairly, thanks to bugged "hack" detection.
Come on Z8games, you've got serious issue here stop ignoring it and deal with it. And please ffs stop saying that "your system so far have proven correct 100% of the time" this is bs with highest concentration ratio i've ever heard. Be professionals as you pose yourself. -

I Agree is it too much to ask for this "evidence"? Come on now... they don't even give us the freaking 1st HINT to SOLVE OUR PROBLEM...Rendering Customer Support OBSOLETE In This Case..

Good afternoon everyone, just woke up and I don't have college classes today. I do have work today in about 2 hours.
@SexyPollo: I do not hack in ANY game, the only thing that is close to anything like that is Jailbreak software for my iPod Touch which if you take a look at the USA law it is NOW legalized.
@Cypherrr: Of everything you posted, the only thing that would apply to me is Glitching (IF double jumping and Bunny Hopping is illegal NOT to mention it would say glitching would it not?) Also I am going to say it has something to do with processes conflicting.
@nojodaasasda: Yes my Thompson is strictly my PUB gun combined with my Logitech Trackman Mouse on high sensitivity. YES it is possible to play with thumb trackball mice.
@PeRsuazn: ZoneAlarm is my firewall and AVG is my antivirus. I shut off Resident Shield on AVG because it causes problems with other games.
@[MOD]dot: as I stated before, I do NOT hack in any game. I WILL never expose my computer to keyloggers etc, I will never take the chance because for example: I make purchases from online retailers on my computer, I'm too much of a worry-wart to even think of risking my computer to such software. Not to mention that I have DIGNITY as stated all the games I play are: Lunia, CSS, Crysis, and now L4D2 (downloaded L4D2 last night to get my mind off this).

We never block accounts lightly, and we never do so without proof. Providing it to you would just prolong the argument as you attempt to justify the actions taken on this account.
We would also like to take this time to remind you that Z8Games takes no responsibility for the actions on an account that might have been compromised or lost in some way. If the rules are broken on the account we must take action against that account, regardless of the physical person that might have been playing on it at that time.
We apologize for this inconvenience but ask for your understanding as we are trying to maintain the quality of our game. We do not tolerate accounts that break our rules or use these types of programs. And as such this ban will not be lifted.
Subsequent detections and bands may result in further action taken against this account.
Any further requests about this issue will be ignored.

Sorry to say but they have to show you the evidence just like in a justice system. This means they either got evidence of a program that is just interfering with the game or just something like a cookie on your computer that is a virus or a hacking tool. Just make sure there is nothing on your computer or your emial/internet that can be picked up under any of these. In all they probably dont even have evidence as its a Auto-ban too which means its all done through computers. AND COMPUTERS DO MAKE MISTAKES.
I really want to know, what their discription of a malicious tool is... And what the auto-ban systems is picking up... Because if its just a tool like a music player or ventrillo that its banning people for; that should be fixed.
PS: Its a 7 day ban, get over it and just wait by the time your done BSing around with the support and the Z8 game MODs it will be over.
Best advice drop Xtrap and the auto-ban systems and get Punkbuster. The one hack shield that is amazingly hard for hackers to code through and around. -
Once again I will ask of this community, what is there to do now? Even in the US criminal justice system there are flaws and apparently this system is supposed to be infallible. I am probably going to try and call G4Box later today since they have a number posted on their website. Once again I understand this is only a 7 day temporary ban; however, I ask what happens if this happens again? Then that means permanent now doesn't it? At that point it'll be too late to do anything or inquire anything. That is why I am looking for answers now.
As stated before:
1. I will divulge any information the GMs require from me if they would take the time to sit with me and help me out on this issue. Such as: anything on my computer, anything running on my computer, etc. I believe that by doing so they will fix this issue if other users are experiencing as well. All I ask is use me as your case study, I am willing to send you any file on my computer that may be causing this error. Remember I received that Disconnected due to incorrect map info before the Hack Tool Detected (0) error. Which as stated in the technical forums is indeed a common error. Then the night I got banned I only got Disconnected due to incorrect map info many times before going to bed that night because I figured it was something with my internet.
2. I do not Hack in any game, I've been a gamer since I was a child. I have more dignity than that.
3. Anything at all to clear my name, which is now being tarnished, I will be willing to share with the GMs. All you guys have to do is ask and my computer will be an open book for you.
4. Any other constructive advice is much appreciated.

@Crymoreplz11 This is the issue we have to face. We play under their rules because of the ToS but there has to be some way for justice to be served. Recently a man was exonerated in Texas for a crime even though he has been in jail for quite some time. I don't know if they will ever show the evidence that was used against me. Also unlike the criminal justice system there is no way to defend yourself because apparently the system is infallible.

May I please have a MOD or GM talk to me? Support as shown doesn't help, there is no contact number for Z8Games, I am going to try IRC again later, still waiting for a response from GM Saidin on the Forum, and my thread does not have much official advice.

find another game for a while, there are far too many players and issues to give speedy individualized attention to these kinds of matters. They can't even keep up with all the hack reports sent in, they are and probably always will be overwhelmed. best of luck. -

Yeah, I've been playing more games on Steam just to get my mind off of this. I'm getting wary of F2P games now. I always believed the system would protect the legit players no matter what. But I will continue to try and find out what the cause of this was. How else is anyone supposed to prevent this if they don't even know what caused it to begin with? Should it just be based on a Russian roulette ideology? -

I hope so, too. I am even opening myself up as a case study for Z8Games. Anything they need or want from my computer is available for them all they need to do is just ask me. The hardest thing to cope with is the inability to know what to do to MAKE SURE this never happens again, but they won't even shed light to what the evidence used against me was. If there are no Hacks on my computer then what do I do to make sure this never happens again?
I would love to ask Support again but they already said they won't reply to me anymore. What type of Customer Service is this? -

So what on earth was that malicious software? How on earth am I supposed to get rid of said malicious software if no one is telling me what it is. Like I said before I have never hacked in any game nor have I downloaded anything obscure. -
Sounds to me like they are scanning something on your computer outside of the realm of CF. When you call them, be sure and tell them they are violating your privacy rights under Canadian law.
I will only contact G4Box as a last resort if no officials on this game sit down and hear my story. It makes me think now, what are they tracing on everybody's computer and do they have the right to do so? -
Technically, the way Canadian privacy laws regarding electronic files or transmissions ready is they CAN invade your privacy without consent, if and only if getting your consent would risk the information changing and coving up whatever you did to violate an agreement. Sure, I can see them see them saying to ToS is an agreement, and if they got our permission to check our computers files that didn't related directly to CF, they would still probably catch hackers, but not as many. But again, under Canadian law, when asked, they must disclose all information they have collected and give you an appeals process to dispute any incorrect information they have based on what they collected.

FYI For a few things with this thread.
We have been working on the system over the last few days in an attempt to catch even more hackers.
We are 100% confident the system is working. Unfortunately a post on these forums claiming wrongful banning actually doesn't prove anything.
Without investigating further here are some of the things that could have happened which the public has NO indication of, and where you presenting your situation is only an attempt to garner more sympathy for you.- Someone other than you hacked on your account at the same computer your on. IE a family member or friend.
- Someone other than you hacked on your account from a different location. IE your account was compromised through a scam or keylogging.
- You have downloaded a hack in the past which has embedded itself in your files somewhere on your computer (yes we've seen it before).
- You have downloaded a hack for another game that requires a similar file to use as a hack for cross fire (see injectors).
- You have used a hack on an alternate account. And then decided to prove to everyone you are legit on your "legit account".
There are many other ways an account can be held "accountable" for breaking the rules of our game. But the point being, posting about it on these forums does nothing but harm.
We know the system is working. If you need to know "what files you detect so i can delete them to make sure I don't get banned again", then you are admitting that there could be a hacking file on your computer. Our suggestion would be to remove it.
