They do brake

The other versions suck then. A player could get about 500 GP in each round without spending anything on the weapon. Would be quite boring if you can get all GP-weapons in a single week, though.

He has a point though.
You can spend 2k GP on a crate, get a 7 day weapon, use it all the time and make a ton of GP.

I remember getting one temp gun every 4-5 (GP) crates in the past few weeks (not much time to play though). (Drop rate was higher some months ago. was) Most crates only give you 2500GP guns, which forces you to completely kill your gun to avoid losing too much money due to malevolent crates or to buy Anaconda-Adv/AUG-camo/DEC crates (afair they're the only ones to still have 10k guns) (God help you if you win the temp FAMAS. People won't accept you using a broken FAMAS while getting good scores)
I switched from hardcore gun killing to casual play with extra money. I don't have the time to completely kill a 10k GP temp gun, but luckily missions make up for the loss, keeping me at a somewhat wealthy (for GP only) state.

they way they made it now is you get a rental gun you are allowed to break
and when you get another of the same kind you wil get the same broken gun back*.

Now? Already when BM was implemented, your guns didn't "revive" but extended their killed status
And I guess that's the point of buying different crates
