Long Range Quality Decreases?

Hello,

Since I've played this game for about 4 months now, I've noticed that at long distance textures seem blurred and it's hard to pick at enemies head. Is this a problem with my computer or is it normal? Close range it's fine. Please tell me it's really hindering my performance with the M4 at long range.

  • Check your display settings for Anisotropic filtering, you want to make sure this is turned on, usually on the highest settings available. EG 16x.
While you're there look through the other settings to see if anything can be turned on to improve the graphics texture, however the higher the settings you have the lower the framerate (fps) will be in-game.

Below is an example of Anisotropic filtering turned off (left) and on (right).

Thank you for your quick response :) just changed it and I'm going to check it out in crossfire.
I'll edit this post to tell you the results :).

EDIT: Thanks it worked great! It's not perfect but its most certainly not unbearable thanks mate :)
