winning a temp gun shouldn't cost you anything... you have to play the game quite a bit just to break it, I'd assume the makers would want that...
As it is its just a punishment to win these things in crates or coupons, they take up space, its durability will haunt you forever, and if its a crappy gun you never really use, you're REALLY never gonna use it now.
I'd rather spend my in-game currency on more crates and permanent items rather than on up keeping what I spent currency on in the 1st place to even "win" temporarily, and who knows when I'll ever see it again. -
In there defense, it was a bug. They said they were gonna fix it, and they did. It is lame, but at least it shows they are working on bugs. And that simple fact alone is encouraging to me.
Bhop is a bug too!!! Why don't they fix it? There are some things that are better the way they are. And fixing something like this shouldn't be a top priority at all. There are tons of other things really worth fixing. It's because of the farmers they say! Who cares for 100 farmers when you screwed up 5 000 not-so-rich-guys. -

There are still plenty of GP items that can allow you to play this game effectively, some of the best weapons are GP. Even so, GP users can get coupons eventually to give them their own edge. Apparently -money- is at the top of their priority list. Who cares about the little things that don't make them money? Doesn't matter to them. Of course we know all the little things, very sad this was indeed top priority.
Sad thing is, 'grinding' weapons from crates isn't so beneficial as Saidin seems to think, as he forgets about what crates really are. Chance. Your never guaranteed anything but 3 random items. As noted, you hardly gain any real benefit from crates. Maybe just enough to afford that needed Speedy you've worked for. Bout it, and thats if your lucky. As thats exactly what used to be for me before I bought ZP. There was just simply no other way, and 90% of the time I was broke. So it can't really be 'farmed'.
Badges on the other hand...
Secondly, they probably won't remove B-hop (yeah, hypocrites). For obvious reasons. Whether its unbalanced with it or not. Your talking about a company that sucks money from this game as much as they can and move on when its done.
Hence why I don't believe the lies about them not bringing the Barret to our version. It will come. Just wait, and I'll be the one to call them out. -
The only temporary guns that gave a significant amount of gp if completely broken are xm8,k2 and m4a1.Those guns gave me like 10,000gp each.Oh well,atleast some of us saved up gp and bought those high priced permanent gp weapons we wanted.Good times XD

It was never meant to be like it was, that's what people have to understand.
It was changed because it was fixed to be how it was supposed to be.
So then we are to expect all the other 'not meant to be' things fixed as well? Bhop being an obvious example? I be there's a big list isn't there.
Regardless, it doesn't change the fact that crates are worth less than they were before. And no way to get rid of those annoyances that now plague my inventory. -

Some fixes are different, there might be a time we could switch it back if it's found fit, and we can convince, but for now, that's a no. You still get money from them. Now, if you want to not get the same gun, you buy a different crate and get a different one to break, that's simple. -

I still feel as though our version was singled out with this new 'fix'. But not anything I can do but express my opinion. I wasn't blaming Saidin, don't get me wrong. I'm sure anyone with brains can realize he's just the messenger, don't shoot him.
Some fixes are different? I probably won't touch that one, cuz it will only lead to a bit more unnecessary argument off-topic. However, the problem with that 'different crates' thing is that, there's only so many isn't there? Until you find that you have about a 1/3 chance of getting basically a null prize every time. Not very enjoyable, especially with ZP crates where weapons are in fact, quite common. -
Don't forget, more and more crates will come, same with changes. This was unintentional and yes BHOP was too, but there's major differences between BHOP and Crates, for one BHOP isn't just this game, also BHOP affects gameplay.
For now, people have to live with it, nothing really can be done. But that is why we have the Suggestions forum, because we do look at suggestions and pass some on. If someone made a good thread, not raging, not qqing, with well thought out and descriptive info while people also give their thoughts civily, it is much more easier to pass on, and sometimes actually bring into the game.
Now, I'm not saying maybe suggest this, but try and come up with other ideas too. -

Hrm, I suppose this is the case. Mind you, crates don't come that often, even less for ones that are appealing and worth getting unless I decide to gun collect. Ah well. Just inconvenient is all. I remember hearing Bhop was also in other games, but, because of the fact it directly affects the game, this unintended bug, shouldn't something like that be top priority? (Haha, and why in lords name did they make it easier?)
Heh and the Suggestion forum was where I started myself here. Sadly, its lost its lurve due to the other outbreaks that spread among the forum. Plus, hard to come up with ideas that won't get trolled. XD Structured or not. lol I may peek back in there when my inspiration for this game comes back. Its kinda low atm. Its weeks like this I'm glad I was never a mod. I don't envy you guys.
