Maybe it's time for me to quit this game too...
Getting too annoyed with all the rude, selfish kids who play this game.
Nothing like working your butt off for 30 minutes, as hard as you can, trying to help your team, NOT baiting, but trying to go side by side, trying to protect, and wind up going negative, then getting votekicked by some rude stupid teenager who would never act that way in person...
I mean what's the point? Life's too short for this sort of crap.
I know no one cares (just like most people online--very few are actually nice people when the stress hits them), but I started playing CF right after it left beta, before the original scar light nerf. Back when you could equip only a knife, and still get FULL GP for the game (as well as equipping fully broken guns for full GP), and when the Scar Light was truly overpowered (All the kiddie SL crybabies nowadays probably don't even KNOW about how truly OP the original SL was).
But yeah, this game simply isnt fun anymore. Just because I quit for a year, and everyone is 1st lt's, captains and Majors, doesn't mean anything, frankly...you do good and you get called a hacker, or people want to kiss your butt. You do bad and you get votekicked. Whatever...
You can't make friends unless you go positive and "wow" people with huge kd ratios. If I get a score like 15-3, everyone starts trying to kiss my butt and wants to invite me to their clans and wants me to be their friend, if they find they live close or something (in LA). If I go negative, no one even wants to give me the time of day. Then you wind up getting votekicked despite doing your best.
And I don't want to hear about "join a clan". I play this casually. I don't have time to play every FPS I have seriously/vent/TS3 or whatever...some people play games for fun. And I think some people think that these games are a test of their manlihood or something.
I guess that's F2P games for you. Always full of knuckleheads. At least I'm a Major in AVA, and I can often top frag in my demo/S&D games without having to worry about the "almighty votekick". Maybe I'll just stick to that game, or go back to Counter-strike source (no one cares about your score in CSS, as long as you follow the server rules), or wait for COD 7.

A big TY to GM Saidin (sp) for trying to keep the game clean. A big screw you to all the hackers who keep relentlessly coming to these F2P games in waves, because you simply don't have the intelligence to compete.
Maybe if calling votes cost 500 GP, then people would be FAR Less likely to rage kick ...only way to deal with rude people is to make life as inconvenient as possible for them to have their perks...

Hell yeah, I agree with you man. So many hackers, but what's more annoying are those stupid kids who know nothing but sit in their mommy's house mouthing off to other people. This is what happens when you get involved with a free online game. The majority of these kids are online tough, but when it comes down to being out in the streets, their too spoiled to even know how to react. I bet half of these kids never seen a bloody fight right in front of them before. They'd probably cry and sh!t their pants.
But it's all good. Hopefully this game gets cleaned up soon. You're just another clean player who'd leave CF for AVA. Because all the hackers want to stay (BC NOTHING IS HAPPENING YET, JUST A WHOLE BUNCH OF RANDOM BANS) -

Yeah I would be raging a LOT less if votekicks cost GP to call, and it would cut down on a lot of the e-drama I see. There was a game earlier where this one guy was trying to kick this other player, because "he played Runescape". I mean. FACEPALM....
I actually enjoy CF, because CSS (while still able to hold its own to this day) is basically AWP city/flash stun, if you aren't on a good server which limits the amount of awps, if you know what I mean, and, well, it's old. AVA is good, but only if I'm playing with friends, but a lot of lag issues and crashing problems drive people away.
I actually went into CF today, to relieve some of the AVA stress (because of my high rank, people EXPECT me to carry their team all the time, and that gets annoying...I wanted to get away from that for a bit). And I completely forgot just how LONG 13 round games can get...(and I refuse to Rage quit,since my honor is good (24 dc's, 1 TK); used to be "very good" with 6 dcs, until I had computer freezing problems some months back....
Maybe I'll just go play some chess to calm down... -

I'd agree with the 500 GP vote kick, but as you said earlier, since the game is being infested with immature children, there's the high chance they'll either deny kicking hackers for their own selfish reasons or just do it because they don't like the applicant.
Too many reasons to abuse people's money and get nothing done.
Since you're a casual player just playing Crossfire to get away from other games, I'd suggest just occasionally coming on to relax from the other games. I know it seems bad now, but I can't imagine it's any worse than the heat you came here to avoid.
Like I say to a lot of people, there's no need to quit. Quitting means being done with it forever. You've got at least half a lifetime ahead of you. You can always come back. I prefer the word hiatus.

Completly agree, the game is getting very uncontrolable; Hackers, childish behaviour and the votekicks. I've played multiple FPS games and find this one; comparable to combat arms. Hackers takeing over and the teenagers just sitting there with the vote kick and just watching the hackers hack. Everyone who hacks believes they are "Pro" Too me this is quite discusting and makes me mad. That a child of maybe 12; believes he is the best player. (YES, i know that its just a child and they're just that kids.)
I Agree; that Sadian its trying to do a good job; but one man cant do it all.

nobody on the room will waste 500 GP for a vote kick . They rather leave the game or play with the hacker instead of kicking him . So ... it's not a good idea . But i agree with the votekick system . If you are too good you get kicked , if you own a noob ghost he will say something like : " HACKER KICK !!! " , even if you don't hack the noob yells "hacker hacker hacker " until you are kicked . It's useless to say : "I dont hack" or "i hear your breath" or "i have headphones " . The noob will never give up until someone of your team kicks you out. The votekick system should be erased .

Also, the vote system is for taking action against those who insult people, idle etc. the whole idea of the vote system makes sense but its abused too much.
As i said before, just play with sensible people. You'll find em. They are out there.
Btw, I play in the UK server and i don't have as much problems with them since the hac,ks get kicked almost immediately, the cry babys get ignored and thats about it i guess. -

It should be like 20 gp a kick, not too much but a chunk of change in CF money esp when your kicking non stop.
