About time > Room Mod
It's about time z8 implemented room mod abilities, seriously.
I'm fed up of getting aimbotted by no less that 2 players on the other team and noone is kicking them or it fails miserably and I'm also fed up to the back teeth of getting kicked for nothing, when ihackers can complete a match at 210/1.
It's quite clear your hack protection doesn't work to stop new hacks (as all do, due to the nature of them only blocking known hacks) and it also takes like 6 weeks to patch a hack when it's found i.e speed hack and the cracked VIP.
Basically as I said the hack protection fails (so you get hacked on) and so does the community (hence hackers stay/good players kicked).
At the moment the game is pretty much ruined for everyone, at least with room mod abilities I could play in peace and keep a clean room.
And sure you can say "oh it'll be abused", sure it will, but at least when you want to you can play in peace - the current system is abused regardless.
And I'm not talking about 'VIP status' where you just pimp everyone to play in peace.
Add it free.

In-game MODs: Yes.
The powers that you are talking about is just bad.
Noob makes room. ---> YOu get nice KD against the noobs team---> Noob kicks you.
I'd rather play with speed hacker, than get kicked by immature kids every 30 seconds.
-1. You certainly can't play in Peace with this MOD option. You would be scared to kill the host or get a nice score. -

Find good hosts and then you will know you won't be kicked or host a room yourself.

1.) I never got kicked today. Even though I got 25-1 in Complex. People must hate you a lot. Also today in Escape mode VIP hacker came in got 20-0 and was kicked, you probably play in rooms full of little kids.
2.) You're friends won't always be there to make rooms and play with you. Most of the rooms will have people you have never met as host.
Best Option: Get X-TRAP coders to work faster and patch the public hacks, I don't mind the VIPs as not many people would pay to hack. So rarely will you see a VIP hacker in game. -

I AGREE! I used to play Runescape, and they had In-Game moderators where they would find a few people a week that would have "upgraded" and given certain privileges. I don't know if this is still the case but it was very effective. The people that get elected as in-game mods should be able to kick people from games etc

I think when you have speed hackers running around for this long you can label them incompetent making them work faster probably won't work.
And even if there was no hackers at all there is still a valid reason to have room mod abilities and that is so you can play a game without fear of being kicked by idiots. -

He wants to give NORMAL PLAYERS (Host of the ROOM)the POWER to KICK anyone at any TIME during the game without Pressing F11 or F12. Just kick and bye.
He is not talking about in game MODs.

So far, for the past 2 days, I've encountered a total of 8 hackers so far... numeround normal aimbots that looks very skilled, tons of normal speed hack, tons of extreme speed hacks, and wall hack... the month of October is completely ******ed.
I enjoyed my Turkey, and looking forward to the Haloween Map, but what annoys me the most right now, are the hackers in this stupid game.
BTW, can someone tell me why most of the hackers I encounter are... Brazilian or something? I mean, every time I flame at them, they either say a) shut up you Brazilian, b) funky brazilian language
I'm not rascist or anything... just it's odd that a lot of the hackers speak something not English. -

If your worried about them 2 things wouldn't hosting a room yourself resolve the issue? or playing with a room host you know or know is fair? -

You know giving this to higher ranks would limit any abuse and since most high ranks are the ones getting kicked constantly and the ones that can spots hackers it makes sense. -
I agree with this.
Its all about giving players more choice. Give us an option to have host kicking on or off, show this status in the room details, then players can choose whether they want to play in that type of room or not.
For those that think its a bad idea they can go play in a standard room as it is now, for the rest of us that get kicked simply for having a good game we would like to be able to play in peace without having to defend ourselves everytime we get a few kills in a row. -

This fellow Notts guy makes a lot sense it's about choice, whereas currently we are being forced to play with hackers and noobs that will kick you. -

There would have to be some other way to do it, rather than this.
the kick vote is bad enough, especially in ghost mode (GR) when you're pretty good at it. -

Then create a room problem solved, let the noobs keep hosting and kicking each other - everyones happy. -
Good idea...
Here is how room MOD should work:
1. Enter room, play game.
2. Spot hacker, immediate temp. ban. .cfr Save file auto sent with small report to Z8 Support Team.
3. Z8 Support checks hacker if guilty or not.
4. Punish.
5.Profit for room Mod (such as every 10 hackers submitted and banned, free 7 day shovel)
That would be AWESOME!!
Unfortunately, Z8Games doesn't seem to care...

What happened to innocent until proven guilty?
As I don't hack I wouldn't want to be banned due to someone thinking I hack. I want to see people banned because it has been proven they hack.
As it is now, I never vote F11 to a kick unless I am absolutely positive they are hacking. As a 2nd LT rank player I think I believe I have the experience to spot a speed hack compared with a lagger or an aimbot/1 kill compared to a lucky/skilled player who gets several kills. I dont like being kicked for being wrongly accused and I would never kick someone else just because they got a nice score. In fact I often say how good they are. -

Well, I guess if the hack is "obvious enough", such as 6 random kill streaks in 2 secounds, wall hack, or speed hack. If they accidentally ban someone, there should been an "undo option in their "banned people list", or a "r u sure if you want to ban (IGN)??
Room MOD may NOT ban without any reason, or if he or she is being harassed... room mod will get 1st penalty, then after that, lose the privilege of being a room mod.
Sorry for not putting enough details... my bad.
