email ban doesn't work, it really just take about 5 seconds to make a new one.
  • Honestly, dont bother reporting wallers. The chance of someone walling getting perm. banned is near nil.

Simply report individuals that are a) speed hacking, b) increase rate of fire, and c) weapon hack. Other hacks are rare or next to impossible to get someone banned for. If someone is using 1 hit kill, unless they are running around spraying everyone down in their spawn its rare that they are banned. Aimbots, unless they are 360ing they never get banned. No recoil, please tell me its a joke. There is no way you could get banned for using no recoil/no spread. The poor functionality of the replay system makes it essentially impossible to do so.

Keep things simple if you want to have any hope of banning anyone. Not to mention stay away from players with sub 100 ping because they are more likely to call Z8 Games/G4 Box, spam the forums, spam pm's, and spam support to get unbanned.

The problem is not so much theirs, it is the sheer numbers of cheaters. If I could ban players, I probably could ban 25+ speed hackers a day. Honestly considering I have joined rooms with 3-4 speed hackers I could probably ban close to 50 a day. No amount of support staff or focus on cheaters is going to fix that. If anything stop crying, the old system was in many ways a lot worse.

edit: Also, don't even bother to report someone for hacking if they joined near the end of the replay. If you really want to get someone banned leave the game reset the replay file then rejoin and set it up so that the replay starts with them cheating. It not only makes it a lot easier to report but it will increase the chances of your replay being reviewed in a timely manner (or at least it seems that way).

edit: In regards to how they deal with wallers, from what I have seen they review the cases in fair depth. I have dealt with them in regards to a ban in the past, and from that experience I feel they look into cases with a decent understanding. However that also makes it very hard for someone to be banned simply due to the common use of voice chat programs. Furthermore I have seen replays of individuals playing in such a way that it is very clear they are walling and yet they were never banned. And by clear, I mean tracking and/or prefiring walls multiple times while someone walks behind it after they just walked out of the corner on the other side of the wall.
  • Well put Saidin,

Maybe one of these days we will see you out and about playing; instead of being couped up doing whatever your doing on the forums (HARD WORK).

^what does he mean with this? That saidin should work all day long? Rofl.
  • He means that, Saidin is doing work and should play CF more. Although if I was him I doubt I would play CF for enjoyment.
  • So [MOD]Dot thinks that I'd say that there should be someone looking for every 2 reports.
And so [MOD]Rex says there are already many people watching these reports.

Now I'd want to say that a hacker should be banned after about 2 hours after he got reported.
By the way, speedhackers are easy noticed hackers. These reports can take like 1 minute and you immediatly know it. So the easy-noticable******** should be worked on very fast.

Not what I said, obviously you misunderstood completely.

Yes, it would be nice with an employee for every of the thousands and thousands of tickets. But thats not how it works, naturally.

As Saidin said, you have no idea if they're under or overstaffed. Its none of your concern.

This is what I mean. You do understand me, thanks.

Too bad thats not how it works. Not everyone comes in a room speeding, there isn't always anyone speeding in the replay which makes a support member watch a possibly 12 minute long replay for nothing.

Not to mention the other work that comes with a ticket. Banning isn't a click of a button, nor can it be when dealing with accounts people dedicate themselves to.
