it isn't so much better. if you already have let's say a 5770, then there's honestly NO point in getting it unless you care about getting the most performance in that one game (crysis) maxed out.
a better upgrade than replacing that 5770 would be replacing your processor with one of the extreme's.

this guy told me he gets around 500fps with his 8600series card.
then he tells me he puts everything at the lowest resolution possible. xD
not to mention, i put settings at its highest, and widescreen 19". sold my 22. xD -

8v8 i get 50-120fps
1v1 i get 100-135fps
i lag in smoke, unless i have my drivers updated and i use game booster 2.0 beta
soon im getting a 768mb Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 (fermi)
it wont help with CF mush, but i play MW2, CSS, UT, Mafia II, etc. . . -

3GB DRR2
Nvidia 9800 GT
Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bits
I get like 40-170 fps in 8 vs 8 games, i think its the OS since in XP i had better fps, but in other games i get way better FPS than crossfire.
