Disconnect due to incorrect map info .....Tried everything!!!!

Ok i dont know but this says solved up top but it.s really not solved .....i have no router and i have allowed crossfire throught my fire wall also i have allowed all the ports mentioned ......but i did learn sumthing .......im running Win vista home .....when i got to CF properties and go to compatibility tab ....i check the box for xp compatible and i dont get the error at all ...but my sound gets all choppy .......is i dont check the box i get D/C everytime first game .......please help me figure this out !!!!!!!!!!
