xTrap insufficient System Resources

I was playing for a while, turned off my laptop for a while and turned it back on, tried to play CF when xTrap gave me an error. Insufficient system resources. Anyone know what this means or how I can fix it? (I have ALOT, emphasis on the Alot, free memory. I also downloaded some programs so they might be causing the problem, anyone know a very good anti-virus/malware program?)
