Hi (I come from Combat Arms = increasingly failing game)
Im new to cf, wondering how the whole money system works.
I would also like to know what is the "best" gun in the game, and the most usable one.

The GP system:
- You earn GP by leveling up to the following ranks:
a. Private - 10K GP
b. Sargeant - 20K GP
c. Staff Sargeant - 30K GP
- You also earn GP by aquiring the following badges:
a. All the badges up until class C2 (2K for the C1 ones and 5K for the C2 ones)
b. Elite C3 badge (30K GP)
- You can earn GP by doing missions. 500GP a day.
- You can earn GP by not repairing temporary weapons. Those don't need repairs to function properly.
- You can earn GP by playing N.M. (Mutation Mode) since you haven't got to repair your weapons in it.
- You earn GP each game. Most of those go into repairing your weapon (unless you choose not to repair your weapon, wich will lead it to malfunction unless it's a timed weapon)
I'll post a weapon guide once i"m less lazy. -
Guns dont malfunction. However, if you dont repair them they will start to be less accurate.wth guns can malfunction? lol i only played 1 game so idk
wat r the other currencies? i looked around the website and saw zp, bp and coupons. how do u earn those?

And ZP is the purchasable currancy in the game...like NX Cash.
BP is Bonus Points, with you get for buying so much ZP. Mainly used for BP guns and other stuff. Check out the Mall.
And Coupons can be won from Crates you can purchase, either GP or ZP Crates. You can turn them in for Guns, check under your Black Market section while in game. You can see how many coupons for guns...some are time limited others are perminate.

Just level up and get an m4 to start with. With the ranking up you get like 60k gp in total from it or more I dont remember.
There are two game currencies, GP(game points) and ZP(zongazoosa points)
GP is the lesser and is used for the more simple things. You can permanent guns with GP and also get GP crates. Check out the item shop in game and there is a drop menu you can check for GP or ZP items.
I wouldn't waste the GP on GP crates though they are horrible. Instead buy permanent guns and once u get to high enough rank buy the +exp gp items they are like 11k gp for a month for 10% more exp.
ZP is different. ZP is very good and you can get many things with it. You can get ZP crates that give u change to win very good weapons with modifications. You can also win coupons from them which you can exchange for permanent stuff if you save enough of them. You can also win some good gp from zp as well.
14400 zp will get you 120kgp. GP Guns are around 40k gp more or less.
ZP can also get you things like, +50% exp up, armor, and you can straight up rent decent weapons from the mall but I think that's a waste.
You can goto deposit then goto earn free zp and earn son. My advice to you is to get some gp so you can buy a few decent guns. You most definetly want to have a deagle eventually of course and always smart to have a m4 or an ak47 those are the most basic weapons but are very skilled and very good.
Other than that try elimination mode to try out all the guns. See what you like and what best fits your style. Any other zp you got I would invest in zp crates, even if you dont win the weapon, you can still save up those coupons. -

Go for the k-2 if you're still in a low rank, easy to control spread and low recoil, tough it's reload is Loooooooooong.
If you can wait till a better rank some weapons like the type89 (controllable, low recoil, tough low recoil, a little long reload speed and low power) or maybe the AUG (average power, low recoil, good spread, loooong recoil, and a scope) or even the g36k (average power, full wallbang, average recoil, controllable pattern, almost useless scope, average reload) and the xm8 (average to strong power, full wallbang, average recoil/spray pattern, nice reload, and a useless red-dot)

And btw, find your own style at crossfire, i was the ayyy kayy dood in cs:s and i loved the recoil of the ak, doing 7-shot bursts and hitting pretty much every group of cee tees, but here in CF i'm like the equivalent of the AUG dood in cs:s, small bursts and long range 1-shots, to designated targets, and it varies day to day =x -
in cs, me ct = ak guy. me t = m4 pwnage. i enjoy using wat i dont have.
is elimination like fy where u pick up guns and play?
Elimination has old-status guns, like the one shot-kill psg-1, and the recoilless emm pee seven, so it's not that good to choose weps ^^ -
serious? but is m4 the exact same as the one u can buy?
i feel that it is, idk, tough i perform way better with the alaska's m4 (maybe because of the map)

it really does depend on how well you play.
i used the m16/m700 till i was high enough rank for the awm/deagle because im not much of a rifler but can hold my own as it.
m4 is a GREAT gun to start off with tho. it's balanced and known as a skillful weapon to use.
advice: just dont buy an m12 or scar light unless you wanna get teased about it k ;D -

definitely save up until you figure out wich role will you take in the game, altough the m4 is a generally all-round gun it doesn't fills all the preferences people have, in my case, i just want some smooth shooting without flashy thingies or shaking screen effects, so i stick with the type-89 wich softly deals 100 dmg with precise accuracy through range, but you can prefer the shaky thingies and beast out with the RPK or m60, or just the simple old west player who sticks with the winchester like blindrob.
The hardest thing to new players is the choice of a weapon, that will be at least permanent if you don't plan on buying zee pee, so, watch carefully wich weapon does fit you well, ask people if you can test weapons and all ^^
