M700, gotta love it
I was just wondering how many people use the M700 as their main sniper rifle. I bought the DSR-1, played with it, then got bored. I then decided to try and get good with the M700, for kicks. Turns out, its actually a pretty good gun when you are going up against other snipers, especially since you are quite a bit faster than the typical AWM or DSR user. The only thing that is irritating is when you die, all the names that have like 85 dmg beside them.
The only problem is when you are facing another sniper who is at the end of a hall, or the sides on Prison, in which case the two hit kill part of the gun is a major disadvantage, because you don't have the room to jump around like a maniac, so unless you can pull off a hs, the other sniper will get you if he is even half good.
The counter to that is the great feeling when another sniper can't hit you in the time that it takes you to hit them twice. Also, this gun isn't bad at no scoping.
Just my two cents...

I would love an M700 adv. Although I don't think a silencer would be necessary, its aready pretty quiet. On the other hand, it does look badass. If you think about it, if either the power, ammo or accuracy of the M700 where to be increased, you'd have a pretty OP gun on your hands. I still want though, it looks really good with the silencer... -

A suppressor would be enough to give this puppy some more love.

yea, i guess you're right. Anything but a silencer would make the M700 adv way too powerful. ZP or GP crates? I'd go for GP, make it harder to get. That way not every other guy would have it, like the AWM camo (no offense to AWM camo users). Maybe on the order of how many people have an MSG. -

I didn't think so. The suppressor is most likely going to reduce the power a little, and maybe add a little weight to the rifle. However, its not going to make the M700 overpowered.
And they made the M16 Camo GP crate, so it would be only fair if they made the M700 Adv. a GP crate as well.

I meant that adding anything else but a silencer would make it OP. I'm good with the silencer, it won't make it OP. I meant that for example, if the gun got a power boost (and no silencer) it would be way easy to kill someone. I never said that adding a silencer would make the gun too powerful.... -

A +2 ammo expansion doesn't work for a sniper rifle. They could make it 15/30, giving it a +5 ammo expansion, but wouldn't that be a bit overkill? Especially if you add an extra mag to that, making it 15/45. Heck, it would make me bring this sniper into Mutation Mode with that much ammo AND suppressor.

Snipers with faster fire rates and stay scoped would actually do better than the m700 in MM.lol i used it in Port MM the other day. A headshot on mutant is 300 dmg. Its great for holding down A site, cuz if you have one other guy with you, you can rack up crazy dmg, scare off the mutants
But yeah it's rather entertaining to go into a prison match full of AWMers and constantly pop their heads until they rage and try to knife you. -
