actually CSS probably helps the most to go practice... basically play.. get decent at snipin on there... come back to CF and u will notice a difference in ur reaction, quickness, and more...
im not much of an awmer, but it helped me -
Quickscoping is less important then people make it out to be.
A good awp needs a consistent shot and fast reflexes for the midpick.
If you have decent accuracy and can deag reasonably well, there is little need for the quickscope.
But in saying that, i'm the best quickscoper in the game. -

You don't need a friend to practice, just don't play pubs all the time and play with people that actually know how to play, and quick scope every single time, practice makes perfect.
Why do you need to play with people who know what they're doing...? Then you just die all the time.
Play sniper only pubs and get used to it. -
You don't get better by playing with 200 pingers in alpha. You get better by playing with players that actually know how to play. It's an analogy, basically, playing with bad players isn't going to improve your skill, it might improve your mind frame about how good you are, but until you play against players that are just as good or much better than you, you don't know how well you really are, and you will never get better.Why do you need to play with people who know what they're doing...? Then you just die all the time.

OT: After playing for a while you should get a feeling of where the crosshair should be. Nne way to know if you're aiming right is that the player's name will show up in red. I find I quickscope better after rifling, or using anything with a crosshair.
