I just bought a g36k and its so AWESOME.
My friend called it a noob cannon idk why cuz its nothing like scar light.
Anyways did i make a mistake by buying this instead of type 89 or waiting till xm8 and tar21? Plz tell me

If YOU spray close range you choose a nice wep if you aim head you need buy tar if you like random HSs you need XM8

G36K is an amazing gun. Don't listen to your friend, it's nothing like the Scar L. The problem is, you just have to be careful of many bullets you shoot at once, cos the G36k can run out of bullets very fast if you spam.

Tar 21 is good for people who like the ak. Xm8 good for wallshots. Just try the xm8 in game and try tar 21 from ur friends if 1 of them has it. Then if u decide u want to get the xm8 or the tar 21, u can save up for it through the badges or the missions.

Personally, i'd go for the xm8 cos of the wallshots. But it's all up to you man.

I definitely wouldn't call the G36 a noob cannon. It's really more of a SMG than a rifle. I found that in general play, it's outperformed by the more popular guns. It's still plenty of fun, and great for GM.

Like this guy said. The G36K is an SMG disguised as an assault rifle. It works best on CQC maps and in GM. However, buying a spare magazine is advised, because you can run out of ammo really fast.

G36 is defo one of the best GM guns, provided you dont mind the noise, i used to swear by it because of its ROF... when half your bullets arent reging its quick fire is good... in SND its pretty good, CQC the ROF beats other guns hands down if you can control the spray/ aim... over longer range... well if you can use the scope on it (lots of people say the scope is crap) but its damned accurate w/ the scope... 100% wallbang...

the Type 89 is a pile of steaming turd tbh.. its pretty accurate, its quiet, semi decent spray pattern, but the power on it makes me wanna cry... its a 89 damage headshot unless youre stood next to your opponent and even then. the only real good thing about it is the 100% wallbang, but i think i may have been nerfed, even less power now...

G36K is better then type89, owns XM8 but not sure about TAR21. They call you a noob cannon because they are just annoyed by your good gun you killed them with.

G36K is a really good gun, the only flaw being it's long range low pottential. It just has too much ROF and is not prescise enough to shoot targets in long range. Maybe that's why I never truly mastered it, since I am more of longrange and sniping.

First thing you need to know about this gun:

Enormous ROF. Really like an SMG, like DeadEye said. You will have an enormous advantage in CQC, tho watch your bursts at med/long range. You might want to get used to the scope, since it's almost the only way to give G36K at least a somehow good performance at range. So if you want to use this gun all around, you'll have to get used to scope quickly.

Full wall damage. Just spray through a box, making sure that you shoot at someone and hit him. Shall be dead in a burst or two.

Ammo is a problem. The G36's amazing ROF and not real good accuracy make it real easy to get all your ammo shot at walls if you are careless about ammo. Extra clips might be a good idea. MM will become hard.

Other than that, Tar is similar in feeling to SG. A little less power for a little more ROF, nothing else, really. It's prescise, and just like the SG, it has a scope. So ya, it's pretty much all around. Tho you must remember not to spray. The spray pattern is difficult and you might find yourself just wasting ammo.

Type 89 is a silenced and very prescise gun. With many downsides. Heavy as hell, reload not quite quick, and has real bad damage. Good in GM tho. Also is 100% wallshotting.

XM8 is just overall weird. I don't get it's accuracy not spray pattern. It feels strange Oo ... At least to me. Tho it was my main gun for a long time, I still can't say I master it totally. Good wallspray, prescise, and no recoil problem if you don't spray/spam burst.
