Anything above 2000 DPI is essentially pointless in this game.

Some would argue even lower.

the g5, its good with speed options, weights. It has extra buttons that let you do anything you like on crossfire like defusing

dpi isnt what makes a mouse great. i personally use 1800 dpi, and its perfect.

its probably too late be swayed but i use a deathadder just fine, my hands are kind of big (6'0 190 lbs) so it fills my grip very nicely, with just enough room to let my thumb and pinky drag the mousepad, it also has full ruberized grip which is nice.

also i run at my deathadder at 1000hz polling with no issues.

i got it off amazon for 35 (maybe on sale?) with free 2 day shipping because i signed up for a free trail of amazon prime that i later cancelled.
