Hello, i'm T4K3TH4T and i've been talking to some of my brazillian friends who play CF, and i asked'em: "why do brazillian people cheat on this game?"
they answered me a lot of different reasons, and i'll post here some of the reasonable ones.
1) the hit register system of the game does not register a lot of the hits if the ping gap between the players who are in the firefight is too big, so, an example is:
player with 200 ping enters the room, a player with 10 ping tries to shoot him, nothing happens, the player with 200 ping shoots the one with 10 ping, nothing happens, so they say it's frustrating to know that you hit the dude but your the his wasn't registered, then they said some of the cheaters started with simple wallhacks to get a foressee of the player's position to try to hit the guy easily, but it doesn't works at all, only makes you do some wallshots sometimes.
then it goes down to another kinds of cheats, like aimbots, speedhacks whatever they use.
2) the country's education and manners are WAY underated there, swearing to people is considered normal and cool, and through this they develop an sarcastic way of having fun, so they want you to get angry, get frustrated and then they figure out that a way to obtain his pleasure is cheating on an F2P mmofps
3) again, the question of the manners does get in the way in another questions, these people who developed the sarcastic way of getting fun does like to see cheaters on every single room, and then they do F12 while you're raging, they're just laughing in the other side of the screen, so, ask politely, and let the votekick run, if you're not successful in your task, ask politely, you'll see a lot of complain, and probably the f12'rs are just people who couldn't vote at the time and actuall friends/players who believe in the cheater.
4) They're incentivated by another cheaters, who link'em to the sites who hosts the cheating files, so it's like a diseaso that spreads there, and back in the education problems, the newer young people are easily tricked by already experienced people or even another young unexperienced people who believes in the cheater or the ones who influenced it.
i think this is a small demo of reasons a BR do cheat in-game ^^

Maybe thats why BR is inferior to the US/UK economically. Maybe thats why they have such high taxes. Maybe thats why their driven to hacking. ZOMG its a chain reaction!! It all makes sense now.... -
Hmmm, I have an idea...Instead of other people trying to tell BR's to switch to the Miami Server...why not put in a notification that can tell 'everyone,' to try out the Miami Server and see if your ping can lower.

Hmm, the only problem with that would be that the notification would be in English which would make the whole idea pointless consider BRs speak portuguese. -

many of the BR's who plays CF are from middle-low lower classes, so, they lag, fps lag, and have poor internet services, we should make the game p2p, but with a low price, it would destroy completely the capacity of creating new accounts of the BR's -

I support that, and make people who already have accounts made can still play the game for free or something. -

I can understand your frustration, but it works both ways.
I'm Australian who plays in West Coast and gets 200 ping, and I can tell you that I am ready to sell body organs for a ping less than 100. Most of the time I will quit as soon as another family member gets on a computer as I know that trying to play with a increased ping will be just irritating for both myself and everyone else.
It's always puzzled me why I hear of BRs who will play with a ping higher than mine when they have an option to play with a much lower one, but I think it can be explained by the poor communication between the English speaking and BR portions of the community. If you are playing a game that is not written in your native tongue and are then subsequently stereotyped by the majority of the English speakers and abused repeatedly, it doesn't lead to the greatest amount of respect and trust in that portion of the community. So when someone tries to tell you to go and play in Miami where your ping will improve, you could well think back to the other 'advice' that has been given to you by that group (for example **** OFF AND GO PLAY IN MIAMI, ****ING BR ***!), and ignore it based on the fact you think they are just insulting you again.
This shows how the 'Us and them' mentality that we can currently see is getting in the way of what is best for both groups. I would encourage all those that simply spout their anti-Brazilian sentiments to consider the following:
It is widely accepted that there are more BR hackers than the other parts of the CF community, yet this does not mean that 'BRs will hack more than others' is a fundamental law of this universe. There is a reason why this is so, and in attempting to understand this reason we may be able to move closer to solving the problem. Of course there will be things that we cannot influence, such as the aforementioned state of the Brazilian economy and education system, but if we can find a method which will allow us to reduce the amount of hackers in any way then the discussion process will have been worthwhile.
What will not help is stereotyping and bigotry, which can hinder progress in this area, or even exacerbate the problem. Please think about this before posting more anti-Brazilian sentiment. -

As for the attempts to show BRs that Miami is a better deal for them, is anyone else thinking along the lines of ping restrictions on selected servers? If Miami, West Coast and one of the UK servers were left without the restriction and a cap was put on the other servers all laggers would be concentrated into the areas that give them the best pings while not forcing those with lower pings to have to put up with them. If the numbers require that the laggers require more space then other servers could be considered for removal of ping limits, but I think those three servers should be easily able to cope with the task. -

I'm pretty sure they'd get worse ping in west coast, which wouldn't help them at all. And a couple servers here and there wouldn't be enough for them, it would be a constant battle to get into the server, because there's just too many BR's to cap them to a few servers.Thanks

True, and I was hoping to find out if there was any major objection to selected ping restrictions. I can understand the reluctance for a uniform ping limit, as for it to be effective it would have to be low enough that it would wipe out a significant portion of the player base, which is something Z8 seems to firmly oppose (as they should). The method I mentioned would hopefully make the game more enjoyable regardless of what your ping is. -

I'm not just talking about BR's, but all laggers in general. Hence the West Coast and UK servers to deal with laggers that are located in other parts of the world. As for Miami not being able to hold the BRs, I don't play in many other servers due to the ping problem I mentioned so I really have no idea as to how many people Miami and UK servers would need to accommodate. If needed, one or more of Alpha~Foxtrot could be opened up, the same for UK 1~4. -
There is no good reason for hacking. When you say, "To level out the playing field" you mean to kill all the legit players who had to work to get good. You sir, are a failure. If you have low ping or fps then go do something other than hack and make people mad for the sake of your enjoyment. If you really feel the need to play Crossfire then get a new computer or faster internet like this guy did.
i had to work 2 full time jobs in the summer to pay off my school debt and save up too for my gaming pc. as far as the hackin goes, the game is very addictive..........ok ima put it in simple english so people like you and the alike can process and interpret my words. 1.no1 likes getting killed. 2. cant kill with high ping because bullets don't register. 3. cant kill with low fps because player movement is not smooth/ hard to aim/ overall bad gameplay. 4. resolve to using hacks so u can preaim & prefire. this way u can round up some kills. my pc cost me $1300, and if u think the CF BR players can come up with that kind of cash then you are either really optimistic or......... well i wont insult u, but u know what i mean. -

Brazil is not the only expensive country dude, but not all the countries with $$ issues do hack all the time.
Looks like brazilians are way to damn fascinated with hacking and playing with high pings XD
For example, ZP is completly out of my league, I cannot afford it, its way to expensive for me, cuz I must buy it in pesos. For me its 15 bucks for some shi.tty 396 ZP... what the hell may I buy with 396 ZP?? NOTHING!! so I would need to spend at least 45 bucks, for 1188 ZP.
Now, imagine paying 45 dollars for a single ZP crate, wouldnt it be extremly expensive for you too?
Many mexicans play CF too, some have pretty descent pings, other like me are averages 100/130 ping... but other are like omfg 300+ pings, but the hacking tendency here is a lot lower than in your country, why is that?? idk, I hope i get to know someday.
BR is not the only country with problems while playing CF, but they gained a very bad reputation ingame, cuz they openly hack and insult everyone. Im glad you're not like all of them. -
Sad to say that Brazillians became the scapegoats for h@cks. Yet we cant prove that they really do it. Who knows? It could be anyone just being a poser while doing it. There are countless ppl out there worldwide being an ass. What ruins everything is h@ckusing. ITS REALLY F***ING ANNOYING!

I seen lots of legit br players .. N most of them speak a little engrish lolz.. as for different nation players ,sure most BRs hack.. But the most i hated were those one who speak nice English n hacks... Most of them got low pings . I believed thry were somewhere in the country.. N lots of noob low ping qqers crys wheb they get pwned.... not all br sux n dumb ok... I seen most qqers r low pingers .... They r all hetr from US...

Delta 9 is domined by BRs, i have tried to convince many players to play on miami but ...
its really impossible , only way to make BRs play well is making a South America or Brazilian Server, and 5% GP+ , because BRs , before miami servers lauchs , we accustomed playing on alpha delta and whatever

About the taxes... He's right, its anything expensive here.
About the hakks... Not any BR hakks, I have many classmates on Crossfire and yep, theyre pretty good (except one, but he... well, he's noob). But many people don't want to pratice, so they download hakks...
About the aff and other words thing... Here are some translations:
Aff = Pff
FDP = Bad word
Porra = something like Woow
Cu = A.ss (I don't know why they say that)
About the lag:
I think BRs should play on MIAMI, the closest spot to Brazil. I play there and get 100-120 pings, and my internet isn't the best here. When I play on others I get 150-200 ping. Ok, I do the only thing I can: play on Miami
About the ZP thing:
Actually I get ZP every month. Don't get higher number, lol. I get by mobile phone. Costs something like $2,40 per 535 ZP. I only get'em because my mobile get credits every month, and with fixed value. As I don't call many people, I use on CF.
Well, nothing more to say. Use your minds and see both sides of the BRs, the good BRs and the noobs.
