I guess technically Scar Light is better, but theres no respect for it because its so easy to use. (various nicknames apply) Go with m4 unless you dont care what people think and just want to have fun then go with scar light.

uhm if you want to improve skills then M4

Scar L is considered an 'easy' weapon, and is hated by all.
But if you play TD for example, then SL all theway.

The fact that you ask this question implies that you're a noob. Since you're a noob, pick Scar Light. One of the best weapons for noobs. Also, try M12. I wish you to become a better noob with time.

Scar light is better, end of story.

If you plan on playing with non brazilians, they will complain if you use it. So basically:

if you pub -> scar light
if you clan war and scrim -> m4

Scar light is better but m4a1,people wont call you a noob and my brother has a m4a1 and he was like 74-17 before soo i would say m4a1 pros use that gun more.

oh and btw m4a1<ScarLight<m4a1custom... scarlight is simply better than m4a1 and requires less skill, if you are a skillfull player you will get the best results with the m4a1 custom.
