Severe Lag
Recently I seem to be lagging very severely. I never lagged in my old house, but for some reason, I lag in my new home. I can only play in the morning and at late hours around 11:00+
The lag starts to come in by 2 p.m. and continues till night. It's really getting me mad because I can only play in the morning and at night. Well, only at night when I have school days >_>

This could very well be due to a cap on your internet connection during peek times and/or due to more people in the area using the internet at the same time.
In some areas, ISPs have a limited bandwidth they can supply to a particular area. The more people that are using the internet in that area, the less each user will have allocated to them, to share the connection.
I don't mean sharing the connection which goes to your house but to the whole area in general.
You may have moved into an area which has alot of people using the internet during those laggy times but which hasn't been allocated enough bandwidth to cope with the demand.
My ISP limits our connection between around 6pm to 11pm.
I believe it is also more common to have problems with bandwidth on DSL connections rather than cable broadband.
Try running test at http://www.speedtest.net during various times of the day. -
That makes sense for DSL connections, old copper wiring not designed to cope with the huge amount of traffic these days

I haven't used a BT for along time. I've used Virgin Media Cable (previously NTL/Diamond Cable) for years and with that we still get capped at certain times. -

Yeah that's what they used to use, we had some at our previous house, terrible quality when you're using Broadband
BT Fibreoptic is the way forward
