That would be fine, with absolute moderation with it. EVERY person who makes a hacker thread must get a 7 day ban, regardless of who it is. Something that might be necessary but will cause problems at the same time. Such an idea would have to be weighed for pros and cons heavily before going into effect.

Warning > infraction.

Most of the people who make hackusation threads, tend to have 1 or 2 posts.

A ban would simply drive them away, when we should be encouraging more people to use the forums.

A warning, then an infraction for a second offence, seems warranted to me.

That is true. Maybe an infraction could be better, considering trolling doesn't give you bans right away either.

I wouldn't say a 7 day ban. That is too much for such a minimal action.

A warning for me is fine. But if the player, after the warning, keeps spamming the forums with hack threads, then the punishment is justified.

Also, to add to this, if the person goes spamming the forums with an alt acc, the alt acc would get banned immediatly. Good?

I agree wholeheartedly. There is too much QQing about hacks now. It is getting to the level of being spam.

I agree, everywhere in the forums there are threads of hackers, they porbs havent even read the thing about the automatic banning.

If you're to suggest this... it should include block/delete COMPLAINT threads that talk about "remove hacks now!!!" and threads talking about how the hacks are ruining their gameplays... Unless if the hack topic is talking about something else like "where did the source of this hack came from?" or "What's the best way to avoid hackers", therefore it shouldn't get blocked/deleted (that's one of my thread though, it's not complaining, nor is it talking about how the hacks ruining my fun.)

Most of the hackusation threads are made by people with less than 5 posts. I don't think they should be punished for being ignorant. Its just the fact that they don't know where and how to report hackers. We usually just close the thread and link them to support ticket, I've always done that and it works well.

Its a different story when it comes to spamming with hackusation threads.
