is there an actual way to be a MOD? or do u have to be selected?

if you can apply, do u have to do stuff like report loadsa hac.ks???

GMs will announce when they need new mod positions.
Used to have application forms.,
Most are just forum mods, But some of them help find glitches and things.
Get paid 30k zp a month or something ;o

Mod applications come around usually twice a year. Mods are picked based on their value to the community, knowledge of the game, and general helpfulness.

Mods only currently have powers on the forums. They do everything from keeping everyone in order, to organize tournaments and competitions.

They don't get 30k ZP, most get 10k.

Only Grey gets anywhere near that much.

There are no more applications for Moderator. The management will be looking at your forum behavior, activity, contribution, representation, etc.

You have to be hold true to a "good example" for this community. [GM]Saidin isn't going to approach someone that runs around all day spouting sarcastic comments to people and being rude, generally degrading on what a good community member should be.

Set an example for other members. Actively contribute to helping this community become a better place. Encourage others to do the same. Brush off the comments of being a "brown noser" because you will get those comments. Not everyone who sets out to help a community is intentionally doing it for attention. You need to genuinely do this and want to actively help and not for the promise of free in-game currency.

Make sure you are pretty knowledgeable about the game, the community and its users. Know what you are talking about when you start a thread and don't go on useless rants when something doesn't go your way. Every community will have its ups and downs. Be there for both. Stick to your guns and your morals/beliefs and be what we would generally call a "role model" in a sense.

Too much?

Why play someone else? Sure one could argue it's just an internet forum. But why not be yourself? I shouldn't have to adjust myself to the likes of this community. Therefore, I don't.

I couldn't agree with you more Polleus. This game and community does need positive role models. There needs to be more people like you in the community.

Now the hard part comes in, actually doing it.

They all get varying amounts, the average is between 10k-20k, but Grey definitely gets the most
