Sony Vegas 9.0 Error?
Im making the video for VM competition, and i cant render my video... at all. and it was just a test render. i wanted to see if the colors i made match the clip. ALL I PUT IN WAS THE MB colors... i get the error saying something like
not enough system memory. you can increase the memory by closing background applications...
this is dumb? all i had running was vegas, and im getting this for like the 20th time now. i got 4gb of ram.
and before u tell me, i tried running gamebooster, saving it onto the disk i installed vegas on, tried using the option, render using networked computers, i have 4 threads on and no limit on the RAM usage... this is ridiculous, its a damn 1:30 minute video... why the hell cant i render it... also i hvae the same fps settings in the render as in the project
anyone got a fix? i wanna submit my video and i cant even do this ****

Try it turning on your comp in safe mode.

that won't work. when u turn on a computer in safe mode, it disables a ton of services including the audio service, and vegas cant function without that service. plus i tried a long time ago -
There's an option in Vegas preferences to increase the RAM it can use. I maxed mine at 1GB and no issues since then.

btw, if u put it to 0, it disables the cap, so its even better than if u put it to 1 gb.
but for some reason, in vegas it shows i only have 1024 MB available when i actually have 4 GB of ram. does it happen to anyone else? -
I suppose you've already tried restarting. It only shows 1GB because I think it's supposed to be capped there. Using all your RAM on one program would be bad.tried it, didnt work

I've got 4GB RAM too and same thing happened once. I can't duplicate the error though. -

why should it work with 8.0 and not a newer version? i dont get it.
if i do this ill have to install all my plugins over... would take too long since id have to find the crack again
so far the only option i like is splitting the project into parts and compressing it afterwards like neof told me but im not quite sure how to do that. -

I have sony vegas pro 9 and the thing is there are certain rendering things that don't work and i suggest using the normal ones( the default) Also my pc sucks too much so rendering that requires higher graphics don't work :0
its magic bullet that i have problems with, and only that because the rest of the effects work perfectly fine and i can perfectly render it.
im gonna download sony vegas 8 tonight and re render it. -

crack. and i couldnt have done anything wrong if there is no expiration date. plus i downloaded the crack.
people have complained about how MBL reduces the render's speed by a TON -

Than maybe that's whats wrong u just have to wait a long time until the rendering starts.
i have that problem too but i render my videos in parts when that error happen
