I'm just starting off playing and it seems to me it's harder to hit the female characters. I honestly don't know what the dynamics of the game are as far as how thing's work on a programming level, but can tell you it's harder to focus on a target that seems to be almost half as wide as a normal character.
I dunno, seems like some people think it's the same as any other character but when trapped into a 1vs1 with any female character 9 times out of 10 I'm mowed down like nothing.
My friend is pretty cheap but first thing I noticed was he sprung for an female character and honestly I didn't think he was the type to pay for absolutely anything.
As far as people getting the characters to look at ****s or hear them moan, oh c'mon. You don't need to spend 10 bucks to hear a hear a girl moan or see ****s. If that's the case, next thing I'm gonna see from z8 is yiffy characters.
And if people have a problem with z8 wanting money, realize that running circa 9-10 servers to house thousands of players isn't cheap at all. A single quadcore server alone is about 140 pounds (216 usd) from experience. Honestly, there would be no reason to buy anything unless it gave you a tactical advantage in the game. Been playing for only 3-4 days and I'm at the point where I have to pay to keep up with people with helmets/vests/spops. If everyone wasn't buying this stuff, I wouldn't need to too to stop myself from getting mowed down. -

Not once in my entire post did I even mention my skills as a gamer, let alone brag about them. But if you must know, I do indeed see myself as being good. However, I don't see myself as one of the best players in this game, or even close to their level.
My idea of a good player probably varies greatly from yours. In my eyes, a good player is someone that is able to play this game fairly without hacking or glitching, and maintain a positive score despite running into those that DO hack or glitch.
I don't base my opinion of what a good player should be on Kill/Death ratios or the number of clan matches won. Because lets face it. It's easier to win in clan matches, with a team backing you up and against opponent that is more likely to play fair, than in a pub match with 7 glory-seekers that find their own KDR more important than working as a team, against 8 players, of which these days most likely 1 or 2 are using some kind of hack.

First of all, your opinion states that there is nothing different between SPOP and any other character, other than the fact that she is seemingly skinny - backed up by some so called facts. Though, I DO admit that the hitboxes ARE the same, but think of it like this: who really tries to aim at something which they cannot see?
Models with spops, as a matter of fact, are different to other characters, meaning that peak times are different to that of the default characters. Stating this, I hope you have, as next to none as it is, any idea what this means.
And, according to you, clan matches are supposedly 'easier' than playing with 7 other players which 'care' about their KD/r (like who does?). Let me tell you this: most pubbers in typical pub rooms blow. The players that suck within pubs (which are almost all the time, everyone excluding 1 or 2 maybe decent). Their gamesense blows; their aim is also phenomenally bad. Almost, like you.
How do I know this you tell me? I've seen you play on multiple occasions - negative in a PUB against terrible randy turks (which you deem is harder than clan matches, most of the time 5v5s, is a joke). Proof, you ask? Why should I need proof to acknowledge how terrible you are at this game? -

She's skinnier therefore some hitboxes are invisible and people tend not to shoot em (cause they cant see em). Therefore, it gives you a physiological advantage.

Who fires at the outer edge of a character anyway? No one. Like I pointed out before. The slightly slimmer appearance gets compensated by a more obvious color configuration.
This means that even though she is slightly harder to hit, your eye will react slightly faster to her due to the color of the character. So yes, in sniper matches, she might have a slight advantage. However, against rifles, she's at a disadvantage, because she stands out more, and thus sprayed at first.
Also, with thinner, we are literally talking about 2 or 3 pixels on each side here. Then you obviously have never seen me play, kid, and you're just talking out of your ass right now. I rarely go negative, unless I'm actually up against some really good players, have gone without sleep for a very long time (like last night), or are up against hackers.
This last reason is the real reason why my KDR looks as bad as it does. I just can't help sticking around for a full match to gather as much evidence as possible to make sure that either the guy is caught, or I won't waste valuable GM time by sending in a report on people that are clean.

They statistically all the same, but I do think they have some sort of mental advantage. When I started playing this game a long time ago, always got shot or knifed or axed down by those nasty SPOPs :P
The mental reaction is like: Oh shizz! Its one of those skinny women again! (no sexism intended).
Another possibility would be that generally better and more skilled players tend to invest in a SPOP character, which would explain why SPOP may appear more "deadly" of sorts.

I swear I get in games sometimes where almost the whole team is STAR. Omg it's terrible, looks like a beauty pageant in my military FPS... REFUND EVERYONES ZP PLZ AND DELETE THIS CRAP.

During game-play, your mind thinks that it's going to be a bit harder to hit
the SPOP character, mainly because it's slimmer looking. Though the
hit boxes are the same, we may still be aiming directly at her body, because
that's what we are told to do in our heads, we don't think about hit boxes
when we are on the verge of dying.
I don't like the character though, it's not even good looking. It's skinny. And pale. -

I'm not even going to comment on your spop comment, you're so bloody closed-minded that you don't open your eyes to the truth. In addition, you are biased towards your view of spop, seeing as you use it more often than you don't. 1-2 Pixels? My ass. Whatever.
Also, back to your comment about good players who clanstack. HAHAHA? Good players - who are clan stackers in pubs? HAHA. You rarely see any good players that clanstack in pubs. Many of the players that you play blow. Let's take CRAZYCLUB or some randy BR clan that stacks pubs. Even with ventrilo or any other communication system amongst them, they blow; and, they're your perception of some 'good' players. You talk about good players - when people barely know you as somebody good in this community, both GM AND S&D. Just face it, yabl0w.
Your KDR? You see cheaters every match? That's absurd. I can sort of understand with what your saying with the current crisis of speeders, but PLEASE - there were barely any cheaters for a few months back in GM/S&D. I should know. -

I was about to buy a star because i thought they had smaller hitboxes, but then i stumbled into this thread.
Is it absolutely, 100% confirmed that they have the same hitboxes?
If so, i' won't buy one.
Edit: Star's hair doesn't show in smoke, right?
100% positive and it's banned from most leagues anyway so why waste all that ZP when you could buy 10 crates and get an AK Knife or a Custom dude it pains me to see these kids who get all the ZP they want spend it on SPOP when people like me who are tight in finance and can't afford ZP. -

Well a lot of people buy SPOP because a Female character seems more exciting and funny to play with. Most Competitive players choose not to use the character because WOGL and CSN do not allow them. I remember when it first came out, I quickly got it. I loved it until I started playing competitively

SPOP has the same hitbox as every else char has, too.

I just got SPOP because it was in fashion
Surveys rule- in fact, i got the STAR as well. Technically, thre's not much i want to buy with ZP since i always get bad luck on crates, so i just though i'd make the hands look at least a bit more nicer. Yes, i am a guy ¬_¬
And NO, i do not jefk off to SPOP or STAR...I'm not that desperate to save replay and pause. It's just a collector's item
as i can only see their hands.
