its pretty hard. best thing to do is make a clan with a bunch of friends. ppl will obviously leave if no1 is on or if every1 in the clan is just plain bad -

Don't have much time to admin the clan and be ingame? ...like me ....try to find nice and trustful LT's.

U don't need many members to build a nice clan ....if u got at least 15 NICE members that plays in the same time. Ur clan is good! -

As a leader of a quite large and active clan i think i could say a few things.
Like kwevli said. Making a clan with a group of friends is the best way to start.
Don't have KDR limits. If you are planning to make a big clan obviously your plan is not to make a scrim clan. Value personality over skill.
Recruit on both in game and on the forums.
Put only the people you trust as LT's.
Imo the most important thing is. Play for fun. And play with your clan members as much as possible.
I hope this helps a bit. There's alot more to it. But i hope you get started with this. -

I just wanna point a finger at what someone said about having trusted people as LT's, and tell you that it is so true. A bad LT can easily ruin the clan.
On this subject, if you ask someone to join and they say "yeah if I get LT I'll join".. I say no when people do that. You don't know them, rather promote them later if they shows to be good people.
If you have a macro saying "Join us" etc, don't spam it endlessly. Sometimes is fine but when chat is filled the entire game, it's just annoying..
And don't give up if you havent gained any members for a couple of days. It can take some time to get a core of players that will stick around.

Well my clan pixel is starting to get well known around west coast but I only get applications off the forumns. First thing I don't have kdr limits I have some pro yet friendly players, the only catch is no1 wants to join like they earn clan points and then leave a day after so I have a few Alts boosting the clan numbers and that doesn't like great on my clan record. I recently made this alt and I haven't played with my clan for a few days and so far were going alright with the lts earning clan points.
Any tips on recruiting?...
