2 problems - smoke nade and votekicking

I have two issues that don't seem to be related at all, but with the goal of not creating two threads from the same person, I decided to combine them. Hope that's ok.

Problem #1: Several months ago I bought the smoke grenade, but I can only use it in some of the game modes (FFA, S&D, MM). The main reason I bought it was to use it in Escape mode, but I can't use it there. It's equipped in bag1, but doesn't show up as an option for me to use it in-game, and I'm not sure why. Other people use smoke grenades in Escape mode, why can't I? It also doesn't work in TD.

Problem #2: Every now and then (once a week or so) I spontaneously get kicked from a game. A box pops up saying I was votekicked out of the game, but there was no votekick going on against me. It then won't allow me to rejoin that room because it thinks I was kicked. It's not a huge deal since it doesn't happen that often, just more of a minor annoyance, but figured it was worth bringing up.

umm about second one...when you get voted for kick it doesnt show it on your screen while the vote is going on. usually you see ppl saying f11 or f12..but yeah its annoying i think thats something that should be changed about crossfire..but eh.

For smoke, is it your only nade in that bag?

Lol,for the first one see if Grenades are enabled?maybe. or if your grenade slot ran out?:s...idk really,just a bug sorry.

Second,you don't see you being vote kicked,it's hidden.but a way to tell if people say ''f11/f12'' and you see no vote kick going,usually means you're being kicked,or they're busting your balls because they're ****ed,and it doesn't even mean you,it could be towards someone else if they are lying. another solution to see if you are getting kicked is,if indeed you do see people spamming ''f11/f12'' is to press,esc button. then see if it says ''voting'' instead of vote,or w/e. that means you're being kicked lol.

Smoke grenade issue: No, it's not the only nade in the bag. I have 2 nades in that bag, and they both show up in some modes (as mentioned), but only the frag shows up in other modes. My first thought was that my extra grenade slot had expired, but I checked and that hasn't been the case.

Votekicking issue: Hmm, did that change at some point? Because I used to be able to see when people were trying to vote me (granted, that may have been months ago and I just haven't really noticed since). It doesn't happen often, as I'm not one of the amazingly skilled players out there. But I do get some good games here and there, when people accuse me of hacking, so if I just can't see it, that probably explains my second issue. Unfortunately, I guess there's nothing I can really do about it.

One more thing to add: when I get kicked, once I get back to the lobby a box pops up that says "Unable to connect to host server." Does it always say that when you're votekicked?

Don't care about the first problem.

The second problem was suggested like a MILLION times. Try using the search bar next time. The vote kick system just needs a small fix. If people don't vote it shouldn't count

For that nade, put smoke nade FIRST in bag. Before your frag.

Thanks for the incredibly helpful post, Blackshady. Unfortunately, I've tried using the search bar before, and every time I do, it says it doesn't find any matches. Even when I tried the word "crossfire". So I don't rely on the search bar anymore, but if you have any more great suggestions, keep them coming. ;-)

Aless: (no sarcasm in this part) Wow. Incredibly simple idea that I'm somewhat ashamed to admit I didn't think of before. I'll have to try that out next time I'm in the game. Thanks!
