Utopian society

And plus a utopian society is a theoretical impossibility. So how could CF (of all things) be an exception.

Being alone isn't much of a utopia.

Because every race hates each other for some reason so we kill each other because of skin color/features/religion. = america

Brazilians = cf community.

that's just a effed up book, a utopian society is anything you want it to be, not everything has to be like that, sad part is some of that book is becoming true

Which is why I mentioned it. Adolus Huxley is a fantastic author, and while reading, I felt like our world was starting to become similar to it. To be honest, the last thing I want is for everyone to think the same way as another, or to act and feel things based on what they hear by people who have "higher authority" over them (these are the bases of a Utopian society).

Actually I did a similar essay way back. From what I remember, America can never become a Utopian society because Americans are too independent and find it hard to conform to a united idea (not saying this is a bad thing but its the truth mostly). Actually I guess the main reason was independence was why the country was founded and based on. If you begin to set restrictions like example "All Americans had to go to sleep by 10 pm" I hardly believe anyone would stand for that and begin a revolt right away. There was also someone who said something along the lines of "You could get the whole population of Tokyo to wear the same shirt before you could get 2 Americans to decide on a kind of BBQ to use at a cookout." Or something along the lines I forgot the last part. It had something to do with BBQ or a cookout so I kinda mushed them together.

I'm not sure about the forums though... Its kinda like asking why isn't the Coffee shop a Utopian society... I guess the only thing I can come up with the Community is that theres too many conflicting ideas?

I dunno if any of this helps but if it does I can try to regurgitate some more info
