STAR DIS-apprieciation
This thread is dedicated to the extreme dislike of the STAR character. i was almost certain when i saw this character appear in cf china that we would never get this rediculous exuse for an in-game avatar. Some of the main reasons for dislike:
They look like dolls
They are AIRLINE ATTENDANTS for god's sake! Not combat suited soldiers ready to lay their life on the line.
The character seems more intended for sex appeal than to be apprieciated as a soldier. Going back to number two, i really dont think you will find anyone on the battlefield dressed like that. i support small costume items, witch hat, thanksgiving attire, even the bunny thing on your back i can deal with. this just goes a bit too far for being a character itself.
-This thread is really meant for the people who DONT like star because i can guarentee there is nothing you could say to make me accept/appreciate her.
the worst thing i guess is the fact that so many people buy her, z8 please bring in the 707 (as seen on posters in eagle eyes and powerplant) or the secret agents to help balance this, imo horrible addition to our version of crossfire.

If you don't want the Star, don't buy it, the people who wanted it bought it. Simple enough?

Oh. And you want the 707? Those girls are half naked, we can see their bras and they're wearing skirts. I think that's worse than flight attendants.. -
thats not 707, 707 it looks like a decked out swat
707 is a much cooler and evil looking of the SWAT. It actually looks not bad, but ordinary.
We don't need more male and female models (Strippers, and male models).
But hey, STAR is the reason Z8 gets all of the money. So might as well not QQ about it, but best to ignore guys playing them as their main character. -
As far as I'm acknowledged, Smilegate dictated the content of this patch and who knows of all patches.
And yeah, I understand your hate. I also get upset when I see one: "Oh, here comes the high heels lady".
But you also have to understand the other side of the community, there were uncountable threads in this forum discussing "Oh there's a board in Research Facility showing the Rose character! This means we are going to get it soon?!"
And bam. Here it comes. And people seem to like her. If it makes them happy, then just let it be.

I honestly just think its so stupid seeing this crap in the game. I've a friend who plays 1.6 (semi-retired) and Bad Company 2 in college and i was at his gaff showing him cf (he has -10 ping,a proper mouse and a 200fps computer - lucky fuucker) and he was just like laughing at how stupid this game looks with the star/spop etc spraying long range with an m12s.
