Search and Destroy: DSR-1 and AWM

I always use the DSR, my AWM is collecting dust. Since you don't generally need the x4 zoom, the maps are never big enough to really need it. The DSR's zoom is enough to be accurate even at the longest of ranges without the problem of the double scope.
Secondly, it being able to stay in scope is vital, as you don't get mulled over by a simple glock bullet from afar and then gunned down.
But as said, its preference, I've seen some pretty good sharpshooters for the awm. It depends on your style. -
-DSR
- + Long Range Sniping
- + Hazard Close range, cannot scope out fast enough to pull out Secondary
this is solved slightly by the fact that DSR no scopes better-
-AWM
- + Decent Long Range in 1 Scope, 2nd Scope can be easier for Precise Aiming
- + Flips fast enabling quick zoom out and quik-scoping and quick-switching...
AWM overall...carry a deagle with it. Anaconda if you can one shot... -

Flaw about your second statement about the DSR not scoping out fast enough, this is fixed easily by the simple weapon switching like any sniper. If you are forced to unscope, your generally screwed anyways, sniping wise. Plus, I never found it all that slow, its just a 1-click zoom after all. -
AWM all the way
whats the purpose of a quick switch ? - see the community around u
with dsr u can only focus in on 1 person so if 1 comes from behind, ure screwed
dsr has slow reload - slow take out and super long range it doesnt do 100 - the point of a sniper
im not sure bout weight but awm seems lighter and overall more effective -

a) What Kel said.
b) There is no reason to EVER noscope. You're doing it wrong =\ -

I prefer AWM over DSR. The problem with the DSR is, not the scope, you can get used to that, but the firing rate.. I was trained using a M700 and AWM. I ALWAYS quick-switch. Even with DSR, which messes me up.
There is one thing going for the DSR, which no one seems to have mentioned, from what I see. The DSR can get some nice combos if its zoomed in with a few people in the frontal view. -
AWm because it faster. It's faster reloading even thought DSR looks like it reloads faster it's not. AWM is fast switching and DSR is just slow.
So inconclusion AWM is the best heap's of ppl use already just practice with that. DSR is made for campers and for camping in MM.

Which I take will be less common in SnD, where you often are taking a pick then retreating or calling, and where enemies might actually be thinking about their positioning. The DSR can get some nice combos if its zoomed in with a few people in the frontal view.
