Wrong. It was added as a promotion. Buy an M4A1 Gold for 100 coupons, and get an M4A1 Gold for free. Now, you can only get it in events. -

I remember back in Suba where it was a promotion. It was buy one get one free. It may have been the result of them accidentally adding the M4 Striped, but there was a promotion. -

No, it was not. Anyone who had bought the gold M4 BEFORE the change was given the item free due to the widespread dislike for the new skin. At no point could you have intentionally bought one to get the other free. -
