How often do new GUNS come out?

Hello, I have some zp, and I already have a really good gun. (m4 silver) I was wondering how often do new guns come out. (not melee, throwing wep, and characters) Would there be any other really good guns that is in the other versions of crossfire that I should save my zp for? I can wait a veryyy long time btw
