Hacking Accounts.

Hi, my friend just got hacked. My friend never, I repeat, never downloaded/used hacks/entered phishing sites/etc.

The hack.er whispered my friend, my friend replied, a minute later, his password was changed and he wasn't in the clan anymore.

Please tell me if this ever happened to you cause y'know, I'm kinda scared 'bout losing my account too.

Always make your password long and have numbers and make sure you change it every month.

You can't, I repeat, CAN'T hack accounts.

He had an easy password, gave his password away, or got keylogged. THAT IS ALL.

I swear he didn't reveal any account informations and he didn't download any keylogger.

Someone whispered him in-game and his password was changed 1 minute later.

Keyloggers can be injected into anything. Did he download any other program / tool?

Well, he could have gone on to a phising site, that looked exactly like z8games webiste.

HE could have fallen for "i give you free zp, pass user and pass"

He downloaded a Keylogger through a hack or any file for that matter

Send a support ticket, your friend will need to put this information in the ticket.

IGN, Last known password (forgive if i am wrong), transition ID from buying zp (if he/she has ever brought ZP)

It doesn't work like that. The login server has never been compromised. Either he fell for the old "I'll give you free zp, I just need your login" trick, or he has a keylogger on the computer.

If what you are saying was possible, don't you think a moderator or gm account would have been stolen by now?

That is G4Boxes hot line. It's in Canada, so it may charge him a long distance fee. I got my account back within minutes, they opperate from 9-5 EST (I believe) Monday through Friday. It's a lot less painless then going through a support ticket.

The only way to get hacked these days is giving your personal information away, such as
your password, or e-mail password, etc.

All I can suggest doing is sending in a Support Ticket, and wish you luck.
