Xtrap seen as trojen fix

I use AVG free edition and yes it saw a trojan in the download and would not complete.
But AVG was not the cause of this ,it was my wireless outdated router, i`m using a DI-624 D-link, my firmware was way outdated, i updated to the last firmware available as D-link no longer supports this device, then i disconnected the router from the modem, i turned off the computer that is wirelessly connected, then from my computer that is hard wired i enabled 2 settings in the router a. upnp and b. gaming mode. You should also add your new encryption code too.

Exit the router close browser, reconnect router to modem, open browser, confirm connection. At this point i uninstalled CF ,i downloaded the new client from 1 of the mirror sites , after download i had no problem installing the latest patch and i didn`t have to bypass any firewalls , i have 2 running windows firewall and my routers firewall. game runs fine this way for me.

One more thing about your router ,to keep from being seen by hackers ,you can mask your IP address by disabling ( WAN ping). This option keeps hackers from seeing if your IP is active.

So this was my problem ,so if your behind a router firewall this could solve your problem too.

Good Luck
