Trojan hosre virus wile updating

hello,

when i tried to update crossfire, i got the message: trojan horse detected, form my virus scanner! Help! Am i supposed to hate crossfire now cuz i got a trojan by updating only!
i completely deleted crossfire in software, docs, program flies and everything else (:D)
if every thing stays for what it is now, i'm soooo not gonna download crossfire again..

Your Anti-Virus is 'true/false positive'. That means it's not actually a trojan.

Crossfire will not harm your computer in any way. If you'd like to run the patch, then
I recommend turning off your Anti-Virus.

What he said Crossfire is 100% safe to download/update/play (unless you got it off a dodgy website XD) i had the same issue but it stopped.

These guys pretty much summed it up. Crossfire (if downloaded from the official mirrors/alternate sites) is completely safe to download from the Downloads page located here: http://crossfire.z8games.com/downloads2.aspx

What is happening is you are getting a false positive. It is not a real Trojan virus, but your anti-virus sees it as one. Simply turn your anti-virus off while updating and everything will be alright. Your computer will be unharmed, I assure you :-D

lol my ad aware found a trojin in the downloader .....
