Virus in the update.

So I got 2 viruses in this update and I use AVG and it found a Trojan.backdoor and a Maleware so I just ingored because I think it's just a fake or something so I dont know if its safe and just do a scan and find the same virus and delete because I dont want that backdoor scanning my files and stuff but I have nothing to hide but I guess its nice because it can catch the hackers in game and scan them but if a really good coder knows about this they can trace that trojan or something and use that backdoor to scan peoples computers so please inform me on these 2 viruses my AVG found thanks.

It's probably one of the new precautions to the hacking problem, scans your registry for injected .dll files or something o.O

How to fix guide:

Step 1. Unintsall AVG.
Step 2. Go and find something like Kaspersky or something that's actually going to protect you against Viruses.

Hmm...well I used to have Kas before and it did the samething...also I just got AVG 4 days and so I have to Disable Resident Shield just to play Crossfire.

It's just a false positive. Disable your AV install, reenable. It's safe.

Or you can add the z8games folder to your exceptions

You need to go to Tools > Advanced Settings, and then under Resident Shield go to Exceptions and add the path that crossfire is located in

If you played CF about a year ago, this always came up.
