Odd spikes
I get like loading ish problems. When I try watching videos in youtube that are hd it doesn't like to load for some reason... And sometimes in games like cf or LoL it will like skip a frame or something and just catch a lag for a sec...
Is there a way to fix this? Or is this how computers are?
I think I have the best direct x thing.
My graphics card driver is up to date.
Windows xp sp2
2.8ghz quad core
1g gddr5 ati raedon hd 5770
4g ddr2 ram
137gb hard drive.
Razer death adder.
500w psu.
Should I get all the stuff from automatic updates?
Preferably from someone who has some decent computer knowledge please.
*also note I formatted my computer recently (like 2 weeks ago)*
I don't look at that much pr0nz.
And I don't have an antivirus.
Is there a way to fix this? Or is this how computers are?

I did most of the updates. Though I don't think getting sp3 will do much of a difference.falloutttt wrote: »maybe you need sp3 for optimal performance?

Hmm... I honestly don't have a clue what you're saying when you describe your problem. Is it like, your FPS drops for a split second? I'm just trying to get more detail from you. Its also possible, that its not your computer if its happening on youtube also.

I have regular broband internet. Or something from verizon...
My fps will go down to like 40 or something on cf for no reason sometimes... And I usually maintain... 120-210
