Help please?

Yesterday when the patch was finished, i did all the patch loading and then when i tried getting into crossfire when i pressed start game it says file has changed. So then i thought the patch might of stuffed up a little bit so then i went to re-install it and thought it would work but then it said i have the old version of crossfire and wont even let me load it anymore. Im not sure how to fix it. The problem that im worried about is my laptop is pretty slow and it would take more then 2 days to re-download and cause all the other laptops in my house to majourly lag so is there anyway to fix it?
