The St0ner Review: Katana

Sup peeps, my samurai ponytail's up, because we're now taking a look at the newly-released Katana

K... the format's going to be slightly different, so bear with me:

Power: the most powerful left or right click of any gun in the game .
*Chest: 81 left, 100 right (on humans)
*Stomach: 96 left, 100 right
*Head: always 100
*Limbs: about 40 left, 90-100 right (depending on where the slash hits first)

Weight: weighs more than any current melee weapon, being slightly heavier than the Axe.

Looks: Japanese blades of death= sexy . Plus, it just goes great with the Custom and Deagle Scope :cool:

Draw Speed: pretty slow, but is similar to that of the Shovel

Attack Speed: faster than the Shovel for left clicking, but the slowest melee weapon for right click tapping

Usefulness: great for camping next to doors and corners while holding the right mouse button and assassinating people, maps where melee weapons have a slight advantage at close range (like Prison, Sniper Matches, and Arena2), and knife only games. But in a normal situation, you usually won't get close enough to use before you're shot dead


Overall, the Katana's a potentially great melee weapon that takes time to master. But... seeing as how it's sold temporarily for ZP, you won't have much time . Either way, get the Katana only if you have ZP to burn or just love swords . The Axe and Shovel are better weapons, but the Katana does have an advantage over a knife user.
