The New Cross Fire downloader!
For those who might be having problems with downloading the latest version of the game, or for those who just want an easier game download for the future.
Our new downloader is located here:
http://download.g4box.com/crossfire_downloader.exe
If you're having problems with the patch try uninstalling the game completely. This also means removing the CF game directories located in your program files/z8games/ folder. Then try using the new downloader and execute the game after its downloaded to install.

OT: The new download link should work, but it'll save the file automatically, so IE 8/9 will often block this. Use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to download the CrossFire Downloader. -

Turn off your anti-virus and firewall when patching/installing CrossFire.
If you have a recently downloaded CF client, uninstall from your current profile, and delete all folders associated with it;
(C:// > Program Files > Z8Games > CrossFire )
(User > Documents > Cross Fire)
So once you have deleted the 'CrossFire' and 'Cross Fire' folders, check again that your anti-virus is off, and re-install and patch from the downloaded CrossFire client. -

It says Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)
