Can't load game,says file has changed

dont waste your time re-downloading the game, cause your game is fine, just go to crossfire directory folder and find a "version" file, its a Configuration Settings (.ini) file type, open it and on the "latest version 1051" change it to 1052, then click save and exit, now right click on it and properties, high light on "read only" then click apply and ok, after this the game should patch
