Now before starting this conversation thread, let me say things about the katana.

^ EPIC ANIMATIONS

^ The Katana is longer than the shovel.... that can help in Mutant Mode ALOT! (Imagine if you were the only one alive, you have your Katana charged, and your jumping from platform to platform in Zone 13, while Mutants are chasing you.)

^ There is a Golden Katana, thats right, a *ahem*.... GOOLDEEN KATANAAAAA. (this music plays in the backround. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXG9IkbEmz8&feature=related)


Now for some possible downsides....

^ It might be the slowest melee weapon in the game.... for now. You dont know if they are gona add a slege hammer! (Or better, a chainsaw.)

^ Its a good chance it will be more expencive than the shovel.

^ It will rewrite your skills if you are a common axe or knife user. For shovel users, it will be a minor change.... I think.....

^ Slashing does alot of damage..... so if its a very long weapon, slashing KO's if aimed for the forehead.... and I think instant kill with the right click..... you can know that alot of people will say its a noob weapon.....YOU DECIDE!

Now start talkin, you got 3 hours before they get the patch done. :P -etmer
